Ms***'s concern is valid; her account placed with First Credit Inc(FCI) incorrectlyAt the time her account was being
billed to her Blue Cross insurance, a manual hold was placed on the account in order to ensure all charges were accurate prior to submitting the claim to the insurance companyThe manual hold should have been removed from her account when the claim was submitted to Blue Cross; however, the hold remained on the account, which prevented her from receiving her monthly statements
The account placed with FCI on 8/29/Ms*** contacted our business office on 9/19/and spoke with a representativeDuring this conversation Ms*** informed the representative that she paid the agency directlyAt the time of Ms***'s call to our office on 9/19, we pulled the account back from collections into our system
I validated with FCI that Ms***'s payment of *** was received on 9/18/17, which satisfies the account balance in fullWe also received verification from FCI that this has not been reported to the credit bureaus and should not adversely affect Ms***'s credit in any way
We apologize for the system error that occurred, causing the account to be referred to FCI incorrectly
