Review: I came into the emergency room with severe abdominal pain, chronic headaches, fatigue, and dizziness. The doctor came in and did a pap smear and said I might have a cyst. She refused to give an ultrasound. She did no blood work to check protein or hormone levels and she would not make me an appointment to come back and get an ultrasound. She was way too busy thinking I was promiscuous and contracted a STD. So I got sent back home still in pain and with a possible cyst or tumor. This is endangerment of my health and life.

I apologize for the delay in response. The original complaint was sent to the wrong party at St. Francis. Please note that [redacted] no longer works here, and that any complaints should be sent to the Department of Risk Management.
This complaint has been forwarded to the Executive Director of Emergency Services. Because it deals with sensitive, patient-specific information, we will not respond in this forum, but will contact the complainant directly and speak with her.
Review: I have been a patient at St Francis Hospital since March 2014 due to Breast cancer treatment. My treatment has been extensive to date requiring chemotherapy, radiation and a total of 5 surgeries thus far. I am very happy with my care and my doctors however the billing issues have caused me a lot of distress. When I started treatment in 2014, I opened an ongoing payment plan with the hospital. As time went on , I received bills which were overdue. I sat down with representatives in patient accounts who ensured me that they placed all my different services onto this payment plan. This included doctor bills, medication bills, lab bills etc. However, three of my bills have landed in collections and no one can tell me why ! When I call the billing office , I am usually told that another dept handles the bill I'm in collections for. When I ask for a direct phone number, I'm told there isn't one but that I will be forwarded. And then I am disconnected. This has happened many times. I recently left a detailed msg for the administrative coordinator at St Francis Medical Group but have yet to hear back from her. I am extremely frustrated with the billing process and extremely irritated that no one can help me. Currently my credit score is being adversely affected. I have children in college and depend on my favorable score for many reasons. Please investigate this situation.Desired Settlement: Bills taken out of collections and my credit report not negatively impacted.
