I had only spoke with company over phone they sent out one of their employees to give me an estimate on price for maintenance of pool. I received a call stating that they couldn't take our contract until we had our capacitor fixed or replaced and they gave me an estimate of what they would charge to correct the problem. I emailed them back stating we would like them to do the work but we couldn't afford it at the time. When we were able to set it up they said it would be $130 to fix that and because the pool was green it would be an additional $250 to get it clear to start regular maintenance. I agreed to that and they were going to come on Monday to start the process. I'm Sunday night I personally worked all night getting the pool back to a clear (no green) appearance. They then told me that they had their guy already come out, and "lucky" for me it wasn't the capacitor after all but simply some wires that were crossed so my charge was only $65. It didn't really cross my mind until after my husband got home later that evening and I told him the story. We were outside and were going to turn filter on simply to run for a couple hours. When I went to turn it on it was already in the on position which I thought was really strange since I knew I didn't leave it like that or it would have already been still on. My husband tried to get the pump started and nothing. I got upset because I knew there were no wires crossed because although it was a little geri-rigged our pump had worked like that for two years or better. The next day I called Saguaro and talked to the receptionist and asked her to have her guy come back and switch back whatever wires he had "fixed". She kept telling me that he had done the right thing and that our pump had just quit working. Both her and I got a little heated in our conversation her defending her guy, and me defending my pump. I did in fact hang up on her since my mouth was getting ready to really go off on her. Not sure how to finish this.
Customer was billed for 2 invoices. The first a $25 maintenance fee. At that time our maintenance tech discovered the motor was missing the back cover, and would need a capacitor (picture is attached) The second charge was a $60 service fee our company charges for equipment diagnoses. Normally the cost for an inspection is $85 but because she was claiming a hardship we discounted the diagnoses.
7/11/2018 At which time our tech went out at the request of the homeowner because her pool was turning green. At that time our tech observed the motor was old and missing the cover plate to the motor, thereby the wires were exposed to the elements, there was lots of plant debris covering the motor and extremely close to the wiring. Pool was turning green and would need a chemical balance. 7/17 The customer was informed and an estimate was emailed to her for a motor replacement. By the customer's own admission, they had installed a capacitor from a table saw they had in the garage and it required some 'fiddling' with. We informed her we cannot service equipment that is pieced together. That It also had to be fully operational for us to continue doing the maintenance. At which time she did yell at the office personnel and told her she couldn't afford to replace the motor and that we should never had 'messed' with it. The services charged were for serviced rendered. We are sorry for the customers circumstances, however we did not cause her motor to go out and we only charged for services rendered. At this time this we consider this matter closed. Thank you.
Ms. JI am writing to you in regards to the above complaint. I do not think this matter should be closed due to the fact thatI was not aware that I had received any more info after the company responded back to you. When reading their response you can clearly see that they contradict their own words as to why they felt they were in no violation of taking money out of our account. I personally spoke to a Steve that represented their company. I found this man to be very rude, uncooperative with listening to my complaint because he already had it in his head that he was right and there was no matter to further review. He was rude when dismissing me and my point that I felt cheated by them. I am not a 5 year old that he can talk to as rudely as he thought he could. I would appreciate some sort of help regarding this and will do whatever I need to do in order for you to reconsider your results. Most of my dealings with this company were held over the phone with their secretary and on paper they make it look right but it was not. I am not real good with computers and am not sure if I missed something but when finally seeing your response I got very upset. I gave you my phone number and would appreciate it if you could please let me know what I have to do to correct this situation. I still want my money back and feel like I should not just be dismissed and my case be considered closed. I do thank you for anything you could tell me how to make this case be reconsidered.SincerelyKimberley J(***) ***-*** Sent from Yahoo Mail on Android
Saguaro landscaping has been servicing my property for 18 months, I have had repeated problems with their work that was performed on my property. I paid them to fix my water feature , they replaced the auto fill float, and flushed lines. A week later the auto fill was over flowing becase it cross threaded and installed properly. To fix this they placed a brick to prop up fill to shut off the water then backfilled in around he pump causing it to overheat and break. Second issue they were trimming my palm trees and throwing the palm frowns over the wall until my wife caught them one of the times. There is now a pile behind my wall causing a habitat for scorpions and other animals. Now my HOA is complaining and requiring me to remove or I will be fined! Third they have been servicing my pool and about 8 months ago the pump started making a noise hey said it was because it was old and going out so they turned it on 24 hours a day to keep up with the cleaning. I had a second pool company come out last week they determined it was two broken Finns in the impeller. They fixed it and now runs perfect. From Suguaro turning it on 24 hours a day for the last 8 months my electric bill has risen over 1/3 of the previous years price. I complained so many times about the grass never being green that they now have turned my irrigation system to turn on 5 times daily 7 days a week. Thus causing my water bill to nearly double over the last 6 months. There are many more issues that I brought to the owners Steve’s attention he refused to take blame for it and wouldn’t reimburse me for the items I was requesting. I have contacted my lawyer and will be proceeding with a civil suite for the damages and expenses occurred due to his negligence as a business owner and inability to govern his employees. When I told him his business was joke he proceeded to try and rub it in my face that he/his business did over 2 million last year!! This has nothing to do with anything
I stopped by the clients home on 3/27/18 to discuss issues on his property. The moment I arrived the client was very aggressive & vulgar. We looked at the autofill which he states I charged him to fix. I've attached reports of his billing and there is no charge for an autofill. As far as the pool pump goes, when I spoke to the client yesterday he stated that another company said the timer was broken. I said I would like to double check the timer to make sure it was broken. His response "the other company said it was broken and I'm going to go with that". I asked the client how he would like to resolve these issues his response"he wanted me to pay the bills incurred by the other company. I stated I wanted to confirm the issues that he said, were in fact correct. I also said that there is such a thing as wear and tear on pool equipment, as a pool company we can only recommend fixes. In the middle of this discussion the client the client became extremely vulgar and agitated because I would not just pay the cost he asked for. "Then he told me to get the *** off his property. The entire time we were walking out of his home he continue to be vulgar and he was degrading both my company and myself. Stating he was far superior because his company makes $28 million dollars a year. He also proceeded to threaten me saying he could "kick my *** I continued to leave his property and thanked him for being a customer.I offered the client different remedies to come to an agreement, but he was being unreasonable, threatening, verbally abusive. It was no longer a situation I wanted to be a part of. He also called into my office and was yelling and cussing at the girl in the office. She stated that she only answers the phone and please do not speak to her that way.As I mentioned to him, I am willing to clean up the debris and willing to fix any pool issues at cost that may be needed. We are licensed in pool service and we are more than qualified to do the repair ourselves.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

the owner Steve called me this morning, we came to an agreement for him to correct the issues and refund for broken items that have already been fixed. I am satisfied with his response and him offering to resolve the problem.
