I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Default of a third party ( [redacted] ) does not excuse you from our verbal contractThere was an offer, acceptance of that offer, and an exchange of value between us (Halo for money), with the foundation of this contract being that you would style my hair on my wedding day, and apply my wedding make-upOne could argue that you should have been able to foresee a power outage occurring during the course of your ownership of that building at some point, and made for proper arraignments such as a bageneratorOne could also argue that although you would have been inconvenienced, it would not have been entirely impossible for you to fulfill your part of the contract by accompanying me to the above location to do my hair, or offering to come with me to another location such as the churchThere were consequential damages from the direct result of you advising me the above location would do my hair, they could not, and I missed half of my paid for bridal shootThere were irreparable damages from the result of it being so late I could not find a professional to apply my bridal main time for my weddingThere was an anticipatory breach of contract when you told me you would not style my hair because you had no powerI am in a worse position now than I was before we made our contractI do not think it unfair to ask for the return of my money in exchange of your Halo extension, and I lost far more than that, as a result of what happened that day Regards, [redacted]
In response to the guest who came to our salon in Spring I will begin with we recommended for the guest to get the extensions that were NOT the most expensive , she purchased the least expensive onesTape ins would have been triple in price but do not do well in Ocean water. The halos are special order, not kept in the salon and are non refundableFast forward to the wedding day, guest has arrived and moments later the power line falls let that sink in a LIVE POWER LINE fell in our lot from the apartments next doorI am so thankful and proud for our director and her quick thinking, she was providing outstanding service by calling other salons to try to get the bride an apptEveryone was bookedWe had another idea to call the School in the mall and ask the instructorsI explained I knew an instructor there, she was not working but they said to send her over and they would help herWe did everything and even going above by calling others, without power, we could not do her hairWe did our best to accamodate her and her mother! Even if not at our salonWe had an apptfor her at the schoolThe guest left quickly and thank goodness, had she stayed one more minute the Fire Department came and shut down the area ( not just my parking lot) and would not anyone leave or come in the area I wish I had control of what happen when she left, we went out of our way to do our best to help her, we were shocked and heartbroken by this reviewI wish I had control over a fallen power line, maybe she should speak with Appalachian power
I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Default of a third party ([redacted]) does not excuse you from our verbal contract. There was an offer, acceptance of that offer, and an exchange of value between us (Halo for money), with the foundation of this contract being that you would style my hair on my wedding day, and apply my wedding make-up. One could argue that you should have been able to foresee a power outage occurring during the course of your ownership of that building at some point, and made for proper arraignments such as a back-up generator. One could also argue that although you would have been inconvenienced, it would not have been entirely impossible for you to fulfill your part of the contract by accompanying me to the above location to do my hair, or offering to come with me to another location such as the church. There were consequential damages from the direct result of you advising me the above location would do my hair, they could not, and I missed half of my paid for bridal shoot. There were irreparable damages from the result of it being so late I could not find a professional to apply my bridal make-up in time for my wedding. There was an anticipatory breach of contract when you told me you would not style my hair because you had no power. I am in a worse position now than I was before we made our contract. I do not think it unfair to ask for the return of my money in exchange of your Halo extension, and I lost far more than that, as a result of what happened that day.

special order, not kept in the salon and are non refundable. Fast forward to the wedding day, guest has arrived and moments later the power line falls let that sink in a LIVE POWER LINE fell in our lot from the apartments next door. I am so thankful and proud for our director and her quick thinking, she was providing outstanding service by calling other salons to try to get the bride an appt. Everyone was booked. We had another idea to call the School in the mall and ask the instructors. I explained I knew an instructor there, she was not working but they said to send her over and they would help her. We did everything and even going above by calling others, without power, we could not do her hair. We did our best to accamodate her and her mother! Even if not at our salon. We had an appt. for her at the school. The guest left quickly .... and thank goodness, had she stayed one more minute the Fire Department came and shut down the area ( not just my parking lot) and would not anyone leave or come in the area.
