Our client is claiming the debt is for past due amount as wells as  equipment fees for a cable box, router and voice equipment.  We have no problem going to back to our client requesting further information or closing the account as a dispute. We will certainly do whatever Miss [redacted] prefers.  If you need anything else from our  company please don’t hesitate to ask

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Regards,

Review: Agency failed to disclose all information pertinent to the account and bullied me into payment. Information was recently acquired that proves the account was not mine. This information could have been revealed had Sage just looked at previous statements as I had originally requested. I had to file a police report today because Sage's errors have affected my credit. Be diligent when dealing with these people, DO NOT accept what they say without verification.Desired Settlement: Refund of the money I paid for someone else's debt. Expunged from my credit report.

Response:

Good Afternoon, We thank you for the opportunity to respond to the complaint. A careful review of our records shows that we were placed an account in Mr. [redacted]' name on March 4, 2014. The address provided with placement for Mr. [redacted] matches the one he provided with his complaint. Mr. [redacted] called into our office twice; once on June 23 and again on June 24, 2014. A mutually agreed upon payment arrangement was made and consummated on or about June 24, 2014. At no time was Mr. [redacted] "bullied" by any member of our office. Our office does not conduct credit reporting and we can not expunge what we do not report. Without any further information, we do not believe a refund is proper at this time. If Mr. [redacted] can supply the information he believes he obtained; we ask that he simply provide it to our office. Once we receive any further information which documents the account allegedly not being his, we will then address and respond accordingly. We thank you again for the opportunity to respond to the complaint. Sincerely,[redacted]Director ofOperations Sage CapitalRecovery, LLC

Review: This Company is calling our business phone and sending our company a collections and settlement letter making claims that

our [redacted], [redacted] is negligent in paying and owes an extensive amount of money for a [redacted] account.

[redacted], [redacted] is not a [redacted] customer and are in no possession of any [redacted] equipment for our internet services. We have

never received an itemized bill statement from SAGE to provide any evidence on what basis they are threatening us with exaggerated

lawsuits and settlement fees if we don't send them money. This is a predatory business seeking out small businesses and using

extreme tactics to fool people into paying them with these false claims.Desired Settlement: [redacted] is requesting that SAGE CAPITAL RECOVERY terminate any and all attempts to contact us and making these false claims.

Review: Sage Capital Recovery continues to call for a debt when we asked the company to send us information about the debt in writing. We have yet to receive a response and they continue to call when we asked them to stop calling. We cannot confirm the validity of the debt until we receive more information.Desired Settlement: Please stop calling our home and please only continue contact through mail. Thank you.

Our associate made contact with [redacted] on 05/14/14. She expressed she did not have anything in writing so we verified we sent a letter to the proper address. She asked us to resend a letter which we agreed. Our follow up calls were made in an attempt to see if she received the information we mailed to her. At no point did she tell us not to call her again. After receiving this correspondence, we have documented the account and [redacted] will not receive any more calls.

Review: On December 12, 2014, you or someone from Sage Capital and Recovery called and left a message about a debt and have repeatedly called and left several messages about an unknown debt. I do not believe that I do not owe anything to your agency, and I dispute it.

In accordance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act formally known as and codified under 15 USCA §§ 1692(a-p), I am asking for, and you are required to provide me with the following information:

a) Why do I owe the money?

b) How this amount has been calculated in a way I can understand.

c) Copies of the papers where I agreed to pay what you say I owe.

d) (If applicable) a copy of the judgment.

e) The name of the original creditor.

f) Demonstrate that you are licensed in my state, and provide this license number to me.

Additionally, please provide this letter to the company for whom you are collecting so that they have notice of my dispute.Desired Settlement: Please inform any credit reporting agencies to which you have reported this debt to that this debt is currently in dispute. I will require proof that you have done this.

You are also required to cease and desist from contacting me in this and any related matters unless you contact my attorney at [redacted], and only for the purpose of informing me that you are terminating all efforts to collect or that you are taking specific court of legal action. [redacted] are located at [redacted]. Make sure that you understand that I am not to be contacted from this day forward and all calls must cease.

Review: I am making payments on an account through this company. I recently realized (through the postcards they send) that my account balance is 1-incorrect and 2-going up. Also the reference number on the correspondence is incorrect. When I contacted them about this, I was told it is an interest bearing account (which I was not told up front). I was asked to send an email to the administrator on July 30, 2015. After not hearing back from them, I began calling yesterday (8-10-2015) with no resolve. I called again today (8-11-2015) and was told they believe it is an IT error that they are still trying to resolve. But if I would like it to go away, I should pay half of my remaining balance. The gentleman handling my case then quoted me incorrect information about my account and balance. He said they should have an answer by weeks end. I asked if I would receive a call about resolution, he said no. This is definitely not how you run a business or handle your clients.Desired Settlement: I would like my account fixed and an answer as to why the balance and other information is incorrect. I would also like to know what my interest rate is.

Regards,

Review: I received a call from a Mr [redacted] attempting to collect a debt at 7:32 am . It was my understanding per the law that they can not call me before 8:00 am .Desired Settlement: would like them to never call me or pursue this matter ever again

Business

Response:

In reviewing the account we did see a collector note prior to 8am. We would like additional time to request the phone records to make sure the call was prior to that 8am. If we contacted Mr. [redacted] we sincerely apologize and is certainly not what we intended to do.

Review: I have a [redacted] credit card debt being handled by Sage Capital Recovery and I wrote a letter to the credit card company over two years ago stating that I was not to be contacted by phone and only my mail corresponondence as per the [redacted] Act and the [redacted]t (TCPA). Sage Capital Recovery has contined to phone me at least 5-10 times a week for the past 4-6 months. I did speak with a representative from Sage Capital Recovery today, June 2nd, and asked him to stop calling me and to only communicate by mail and he was rude and condescending with his response so I hung up and told him to never call again. Can you STOP them from making these HARRESSING phone calls 5-10 times a week?

[redacted]Desired Settlement: Please have Sage Capital Recovery STOP all the HARRESSING phone calls as instructed and to only communicaate by mail as I have requested!!!

Response:

Good Morning, We have reviewed Mr. [redacted] complaint. Unfortunately, he is mistaken on his interpretation of the guiding law. Prior to this very complaint we are responding to, our office never received a cease and desist in writing from him and such requests are binding on the recipient only (He expresses sending over two years ago to the creditors themselves; not our office. Further, this account was placed with our office on or about April 11, 2015; well after the writings he indicates in his complaint). Nonetheless, we are terminating all outbound calls to Mr. [redacted] from our office and honoring his request. Please note that our doing so does NOT remove any contractual obligation that remains for Mr. [redacted] We thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaint.Yours Truly,Sincerely, [redacted] Chief Compliance Officer Sage Capital Recovery, LLC [redacted]

Review: This account does not belong to me. I am a victim of Identity Theft and [redacted] have been informed and all of the necessary documentations,, (police reports, [redacted] affidavit, etc.) were transmitted to [redacted]. Once again, [redacted] is practicing illegal debt collection activities. This account is a fraudulent account. I have never lived at [redacted], IL 60406. [redacted] requested documents from [redacted] last year. The document were sent to [redacted] and an investigation was performed and a solution was granted favorably to [redacted]. So, therefore, this collection attempt made by Sage Capital Recovery is clearly harassment done by both parties.Desired Settlement: This account should be deleted!!! My personal credit reports should not be accessed in any way by [redacted] or Sage Capital Recovery due to the fraudulent nature of this account. A civil law suit will be filed against both [redacted] and SAGE CAPITAL RECOVERY if this harassment continues.
