Taking the course test related to the delivered content. After paying the fee for the content and right in the middle of the exam, the providers website was unable to be accessed. A call to support explained that this never happens and they don't know whats going on.
Safe2Drive did have an issue with our site going down for a brief amount of time (less than one hour) on Sunday May 16th. This student contacted our customer support team shortly after 5:00 EST and was upset that the site went down because he waited until the last minute and needed to have it completed right away. Our representative did tell him that the site does not typically go down, but we are aware of the situation and are diligently working on it and will get it back up ASAP and will give him a call once it is back up and running. The site was down for less than one hour and the student completed his exam by 5:54 PM EST on May 16th.
Safe2Drive does work very hard to keep a stable environment and our site rarely has any interruptions. Unfortunately, in the electronic age we are in, there is never a 100% guarantee of up time for any website. When there is any interruption though we jump to make sure it is corrected immediately (most times in just mere minutes) as we did in this situation. We do apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused and want to get across that this was not an intentional act and we did everything we possibly could for all of our customers in this situation.
We were guided by Safe2Drive via telephone to enroll in an online drivers education course that we needed another section. Meaning, we signed up for the classroom portion only, but also needed the behind the wheel portion too. We are now more than half way through with the course and found out that we needed a package (online course AND behind the wheel instruction). Naturally, we are not happy considering my wife spoke with an agent from Safe2Drive when enrolling and were obviously not given clear information (misleading). This will now cost me more money to enroll in the behind the wheel instruction than it would have if we would have enrolled in the proper course. We feel that this should not have happened because an agent with SAFE2DRIVE was spoken to and facilitated this situation. We also feel it is odd (convenient for Safe2Drive) that we are now in a position to pay more money for a course that we should have been in already.
Our prepared response did not fit in this section so we have attached as a document. We feel it is important to provide all information so that all can see the process and the specific circumstance.
Greetings,
We are currently enrolled in BTW instruction as my son has completed the classroom instruction. We had to pay more for the instruction because the manner in which we enrolled. The enrollment process was without a doubt facilitated/guided by Safe2Drive. The cost difference is not negligible when taking ethical considerations in to account. Deceptive practice for a few bucks is unethical.
Sincerely,
Keith L. C
