Safe Hiring Solution, LLC Reviews (1)

Good afternoon [redacted],
I received you package of information in the mail last night. [redacted] is a very strong willed person to say the least. She omits quite a few things from her complaint, but i...

have emails that fully document most of our conversations. everyone that I take a deposit from is fully informed that the kitten has to be picked up from our home in person. We do not drive to meet anyone, and we do not ship kittens via air freight. We have had people drive to our house from as far away as New York and California to pick up kittens. We have also had people fly from as far away as Canada. The kittens that fly are always hand carried onto the plane by their new owners so that they may be cared for personally during the flight. This cuts down on an already stressful situation of the kitten being in a new and strange environment. There are plenty of horror stories out there of perfectly healthy kittens dieing on unsupervised plane trips and we choose not to subject our kittens to that possibility. All kittens are picked up the first weekend after they turn 12 weeks old, and this is planned well in advance with scheduled pickup time with a 30 minute window in between so that everyone gets one on one attention during the hour long introduction and pickup. Kittens are available for reservation starting at 3 weeks of age. Our reservation contract clearly states that the deposit for a kitten is fully refundable up until the kitten is 8 weeks of age, but that if the buyer backs out after 8 weeks of age, the deposit becomes non refundable.
[redacted] paid a $300.00 deposit ( the other $10.00 was the charge Pay Pal charged her for the transaction) for a female kitten "Freyja" and never showed up at her scheduled time to finish paying for her and pick her up. We called, texted and emailed her numerous time to try and contact her for a week after the scheduled pickup date but she never returned our calls, texts or emails. Finally a week later, she emailed us saying she wanted us to meet her an hour and a half one way from our house at a hotel to deliver the kitten, and that she would be bringing her dog. I responded that no I could not because we already had plans and I was not able to drive a 3 to 4 hour round trip to deliver her kitten to her when our policy is for the buyer to schedule a time to pick the kitten up from our home ( secure, safe and familiar to the kitten for introduction to the new family). I also told her that bringing a strange dog to spend the night with the kitten in the hotel room would potentially add undue stress to the already possibly stressful situation of the kitten meeting her new family. She replied that she wanted us to ship the kitten via air to her at her cost. I reminded her that we don't ship kittens for any amount of money for health risk reasons. She then said she would pass on the kitten and wait for a later litter and do a better job on planning to come to our house to pick up the next kitten. At this point the deposit she had put in was non refundable because the kitten was 13 weeks old at this point and [redacted] backed out of buying the kitten. I told her that if she wanted to wait for a later litter that it would be fine and we would be in touch as the fall litters started being available.
[redacted] contacted me on September 5th asking if we had any kittens yet. I responded that we had 2 girls that had just bred but no way to know yet about conception or litter size. I would contact her when I could confirm a kitten for her.
We do not tell anyone about kittens until they are 3 weeks old and are thriving. We do not want people to get their hopes up then to be let down if something was to happen to a kitten.
She contacted me again when the kittens were 2 weeks old absolutely blasting me. Accusing me of selling kittens and not contacting her to tell her we had available kittens and demanding her refund. She said she saw available kittens on our website.
I responded that maybe she should contact me before she blasted me with an email and that the website had not been updated in months. As a matter of fact the kitten pictures on the site were still the litter that she had passed on. We had not had any other kitten and the new kittens were only 2 weeks old and would be sending her pictures in a week if she could be respectful instead of nasty. The email conversation went down hill from there with her typing viscous hate filled emails. I told her that if she could act in a civil manner, that I would still entertain conversation with her, to no avail. I gave her 3 chances to act civil with each response getting more and more scathingly sarcastic. Finally I informed her that I would no longer accept any further communication with her and our business was concluded
I tried all that was ethically  possible to please her but she is completely unreasonable.
sincerely,
[redacted]
