I hired Safe Haven to erect my steel building supplied by General Steel. Aside from the numerous issues with General Steel, Lee and his crew did their best, however, the finished product made the whole situation worse. I had two other contractors take a look at the finished work as I was skeptical during the process of Safe Haven's crew assembling my building. First if all, they didn't peel the plastic off the metal sheets until they assembled the building, now I have jagged plastic edges showing on each piece of metal. I was also advised by the other two contractors that I would soon have water leaking into my building this rain season as Safe Haven didn't use enough fasteners (screws) on the seams. In addition, the roof has a bunch of "putty" to seal the cracks because the metal was cut too short, which won't hold up to the sun and the rain. More importantly, the sheets for the roof were cut too short, now water will likely run into the interior of my walls; I was advised to install custom gutters which will cost over $1000. Lastly, the crew was so immature and inexperienced, they argued back and forth constantly and were slacking on the job. Finally, they left a putty figurine shaped like a *** in the branches of nearby trees, which my wife found....not impressed. I am not sure how their Solar/Roof work is, but given my experience, please do yourself a favor and hire someone else.
