[redacted] In regards to the rejected request concerning complaint [redacted]  Please see the attached documents which are the same documents that [redacted] has already previously confirmed she received by email, mail and certified mail.  Included is the copy of the check that was paid by Safe Auto Insurance to the lienholder of [redacted].   The item titled “[redacted] LOG and Title” includes the letter of guarantee that [redacted] completed showing the “proof” that Ms. [redacted] is requesting.   All of Ms. [redacted]’s requests for documentation have been fulfilled on multiple occasions with the attached documents.  Thank you for your time,[redacted]

I did not receive a letter from Safe Auto in regards to policy as stated in their response. That is a false statement. I do not see how a company can keep your money and not issue a refund in a timely manner, or how they think they can charge a fee to get your money back in the first place. It took them less than 15 minutes to take it out of my account and I am still waiting almost two months later for a refund. I have no proof that they sent the check in the first place, they wont send me a letter stating that I dont have insurance with them, all I ever got was the policy. I have nothing else in writing from them. I have also filed a complaint with the insurance department in [redacted] and will continue to file complaints until this matter is resolved. It may not seem like a lot of money, but as a single mom, this is and its more about being ethical and having integrity as a company. Prove to me that the first check was sent to the address that four different agents verified. I received a policy but not a check that supposedly was sent to the same address.  I have had no other issues with my they were able to send a policy to me, but can not get a check to me??

I am writing in response to your email regarding a...

complaint that was filed by [redacted]
complained that Safe Auto Insurance has not  paid far the damage to her vehicle.
[redacted] reported her vehicle was stolen on 8/13/14 and notified Safe Auto Insurance the same day. The
file was assigned to adjuster [redacted].
[redacted] had just started her policy with Safe Auto Insurance on 8/8/14, five days before the alleged
theft. A reservation of rights letter was sent to [redacted] for the recent policy inception. Additionally, [redacted]
advised that she was adding a replacement vehicle to her policy on 811 3/14 just prior to reporting the
theft. On 811 8/14, [redacted] obtained a recorded statement from [redacted] regarding the facts of Loss.
Investigator [redacted] was also assigned to the claim. On 9/81 14. [redacted] received the theft
report and also the theft affidavit filled out by [redacted]. On 9/12/14, [redacted] received and
reviewed [redacted]'s cell phone records. [redacted] has requested to speak to [redacted]'s mother and
also obtain the proof of purchase for the new replacement vehicle. [redacted] calIed CDV Leasing and
Sales but the representative was advised that he did not know the insured nor did he sell a vehicle to her.
The investigation is ongoing at this time. [redacted] has called [redacted] on several occasions and
provided claim status. [redacted] is aware that we need to speak with her mother and conclude our
investigation before we can make a determination on coverage.
Since policy documents may contain information protected by privacy laws, we cannot disclose these
documents to the Revdex.com without our insured's consent, I have included an authorization form, which would
need to be signed by our insured before we can release any further information.

This letter acknowledges receipt of your...

correspondence dated 8/6/14, regarding the
concerns of [redacted] states that he repaired a totaled vehicle and
wishes for Safe Auto to pay him for the repairs that he made.
I reviewed [redacted]'s claim today. [redacted]'s vehicle has heavy damage
to the front left corner, and the driver side airbag deployed. Safe Auto wrote $6,045.32 in
observable damage, and valued [redacted]'s vehicle at $2,386. By definition, **
[redacted]'s vehicle is a total loss and accordingly [redacted] is required to obtain
a salvage title per [redacted] law. Once we receive a copy of the salvage title we will be able
to release his total loss settlement in the amount of $2,096.

After researching these...

concerns, [redacted] was presented with two options:
1. We could reissue a new check and she would be subject to the $26.00 stop payment fee.
2. We would reissue a check after 60 days, without the stop payment fee.
[redacted] elected not to pay the fee. Therefore, we will reissue a new check after 60 days. The check will be mailed around October 18, 2014.
Please be advised that we have also provided [redacted] with a detailed letter which responds to her specific concerns and which may include policy documents that support our position. Since policy documents may contain information protected by privacy laws, we cannot disclose these documents to the Revdex.com without our insured’s consent.
