this was not a “sales call” but was a diagnostic call.  According to our records our technician
arrived at 12:00pm and was on your job until 1:20pm which is an hour and...

 He tested and diagnosed the
system finding it was very low on refrigerant and most likely had a leak.  He offered a repair which entailed reclaiming
the refrigerant, pressurizing the system with nitrogen to locate the leak or
leaks and repairing the leaks.  Then the
system would be vacuumed down and recharged with the proper level of
refrigerant.
This is the correct way to repair a system with a leak.  We could have just recharged the system with
refrigerant for less money but most likely the refrigerant would leak back
out.  In our opinion this is an improper
repair.
