Review: On 9/24/15 I went to this place of business to have my rear brakes replaced and I even brought my own with me to cut down the cost of the bill. I was charged $76.32 for this service and after leaving my 2006 Hyundai Elantra with them to do the work, I later noticed that there were damages that were not there prior to me leaving my vehicle at that location. First, the weather stripping around my driver's door was severed and the handle on my driver side door was yanked so hard that it was sitting in a outward position and it was not like that when I left it there. I called back when my work schedule allowed me to gel with their hours of operation and I explained to the owner what my observations were and the fact that no one bothered to inform me that this occurred during the duration of labor. I was asked to bring my car in so that they could see what I was talking about. I did that 9/28 at which time I spoke to Mr. Dave S[redacted] and when he initially addressed me( an African American/Native American woman) the first thing he said to me was, "All of you are just alike!! Always wanting something for nothing! We believe your car was like that when you brought it in here and you just want us to fix it.. You are blaming us for something that was already wrong with your car! We already fixed your brakes and since you insisted on having your new brakes put on, we did that for you! (Keeping in mind, I already paid for this service and it already cleared my account) He then brought me in the shop area and showed me that the piece was already broken, so he says, they could not find the piece of plastic that was supposed to be attached to handle. He stated, "I will fix it on Wed when I get the part." I asked how much is it going to cost? He replied, "Don't worry, I'll take it easy on the labor." 10/2/15 I brought my car back to have the handle fixed and to my surprise, he charged me $48.21.. And he has the audacity to call himself "reputable"! He lacks everything that it takes to relate to others.Desired Settlement: I want others to see how some businesses here in Hermitage Pa are quite unfair to minority consumers and how we are quickly stereotyped and our integrity is assassinated for no apparent reason! My debt to this company was paid and it has long cleared my bank account and he had no reason to assume that I want something for nothing first of all. Second of all, the idea that he classified me along with others that he has dealt with professionally or unprofessionally has rubbed me negatively.
