Per phone conversation with [redacted]:The engraving has been completed and the the consumer has been notified. There are many factors that affect headstone engraving timetables, including some that are out of our control, such as humidity. We are sorry that Mr. [redacted] wait time was longer...
than expected and hope that he is satisfied with the engraving.
We tried following up with Mr. [redacted] but our employee took the number down wrong and were unable to make contact with him in Houston. Visted with Mrs. [redacted] and will contact for a date to set, weather permitting.

I am rejecting this response because:This morning 11/21 I talked to Greenlawn Cemetary office employee [redacted]. She made a visual check of the grave site and confirmed that the stone is not in place. Your previous correspondence listed the following comment from the business:"Green Lawn Cemetery has a new process for placing headstones with increased paperwork. We are waiting for them to complete their side of the process" [redacted] of Greenlawn stated that they have not changed their headstone placing process. Please continue to work with the business. In the meantime we are moving forward to submit paperwork through Small Claims court to recover the cost of the order. legal fees, and an amount to cover part of our anxiety and suffering while waiting for this business to provide the so that we can properly recognize the memory of my father. On November 10th the business was contacted by a local lawyer with the following written message:Owner/Manager I write today on behalf om my client [redacted]. In dealing with your company Ms. [redacted] purchased a headstone to be placed at Greenlawn on May 20, 2016. The scheduled delivery date was 12 weeks as indicated by the attached contract for purchase. To date same has not been delivered. You are in breach of the contract. Demand is hereby made that you make delivery within 14 days of the date of this letter. If you fail to do so, suit will be brought against you in a court of competent jurisdiction for breach of contract. My client will not only be seeking a refund of the purchase amount but reasonable and necessary attorneys fees and all costs of the suit. Regards, [redacted] (Nederland, TX)

Our company experienced a compressor failure that was under warranty. We had to wait for the manufacturer to replace, which took over two months. We have refunded the customer in full and expressed our regrets.
