Saban Rent A Car

I rented a car that was $129 a week. The clerk and the person that answered the phone stated there was a $300 deposit. They went on to explain that once the car was returned the remaining deposit would be refunded. Once I arrived to the car rental store I explained to the clerk that I would need the car for two weeks. He stated that two weeks was OK, collected the $300 deposit, and proceeded to hand a pink receipt. I looked over the receipt as he went to the yard to pull the car in and I noticed that insurance was nowhere on the document. Once the clerk returned with the keys in his hand ready to hand them to me I asked if I needed to add insurance. The clerk responded with a clear "NO" and went on to say that everything was OK. I assumed that meant insurance was included. I signed the receipt and collected the keys. Come Tuesday morning around 9:00 I walked out of my apartment ready to drive to an interview I had at 10:00, the car was nowhere to be found. I panicked for a few minutes and then I thought maybe they picked it up by mistake and it had not been towed. Sure enough, I call them and the clerk answers and tells me that the car was due on Monday. I told he I had previously spoke with the other clerk and let him know I needed it two weeks. He laughed and said "nice try" but we would never do that with a $300 deposit. I said "well the clerk I got the car from should have said that and then demanded the remainder of my deposit if I cannot have the rental back. He went on to say that I have no deposit because there is $50 in taxes, $16.95 a day in insurance and a late fee. I told him that the previously clerk said that I did not have to pay an additional fee for insurance and was aware that I needed the car. He laughed told me I was ignorant and hung up the phone. I called back and he offered me his corporate number but when I asked what the corporate number was he laughed and said it's the same number you dialed and hung up the phone in my face.
