I can only imagine that there was an error at Softspots' returns facility and a return from a previous customer was not scanned into the systemThe description "very worn and dirty" is inaccurateThere were minor marks on the bottoms of the soles only, which I wouldn't have noticed without flipping the shoes over and inspecting them.My complaint hardly has to do with the money anymore, but the sense that I've been scammed

As stated on our website the shoes must be in original condition to be accepted for returns/exchange (unless defective)Beyond days, our products are guaranteed against defects and workmanshipThis pair was returned to us very worn and dirtyWe do have a system in place in which we are able to
track what items are sent, returned, and if a package sent out had previously been returned to usThe item sent to the customer was in the original condition and was never sent to another customer. If a customer calls in and feels their item is in the new/unused condition after being rejected, we do tell them that they may send them back a second time if they wish to be re-inspected This is a decision that the customer will make and we cannot reimburse for any shipping charges

We can assure you the item that was sent was never sent to another customer and was worn/dirty and not in the new/unused condition that we specify the shoes need to be returned in for a refund or exchange.
