Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and for the record I find that SYG's written explanation is nothing but
excuses and many of the facts are misrepresented and I am not accepting their written responseThe last date SYG
repsonded to our emails was on 12/22/and SYG did not respond to any
correspondence until 1/14/only because we located Kathy G***'s
email address.Since the email response dated 1/14/SYG
has been very responsive and their contractors are performing to our
satisfaction, therefore I am accepting SYG's actions to the issues at hand and will close this complaint but will reopen this compliant at the first sign concerns

The complaint report being filed with the Revdex.com due to the builders failure to respond the property defect issues via email to Kathy G[redacted] and one phone call made to Kathy on January 5, 2015 regarding the following issues identified in this document.
Additionally, the builder also has failed to notify us when they will schedule the work to install a Deck and finish specific areas of the Basement which were negotiated in a legal agreement prior to settlement. The builder has until March 2015 to complete these within the terms of the legal settlement.
This report and subsequent pages documenting incomplete repairs and or addressing latent defects discovered during the first week occupying the residences were prepared by [redacted] on 1/11/2015.
In resolving these issues, the builder must coordinate with [redacted], for Mr. [redacted] travels on business during the week and will not be available.
The resolution we are seeking is prompt response to all current and future issues during the warranty period (1 year) and correct any and all defects in a timely manner.
Current Issues:
1. Repair Kitchen Cabinets & Drawers
2. Rear Gutter behind master bedroom level clogged
3. Cook-top Exhaust Vent - No back draft damper
4. Install permanent mailbox
5. Provide status and schedule for Deck & Basement construction activities
As of this morning, I have emailed the builder (Kathy G[redacted] at the email address provided [redacted]) and attached a detailed list of the issues.Desired Settlement: Complete all reported defects as required by contract in a timely manner and respond to all correspondence with 2 business days with a resolution to all builder defect issues reported throughout the 1 year warranty period. Make sure that your subcontractors and venders complete their work order request within the time frame required.

Review: SYG Homes started development of the [redacted] community. SYG Homes claimed that once all of the homes were built they would complete paving the roads in this neighborhood. All homes have been completed for over 1 year, yet the road is not yet paved. The [redacted]s HOA has contacted SYG numerous times with no resolution. At this point, the [redacted]s roads are not considered state-owned, and are not being patrolled by police, or plowed when it snows.Desired Settlement: Complete the paving of the [redacted]s Community as promised.

February 25, 2014
Dear Mr. Derrick Gregory,
This letter is in response to the Revdex.com complaint that SYG Associates Incorporated (SYG) has not completed the road paving at [redacted].
The remaining house in [redacted] was completed and settled on February 7,2013. Since then, SYG has been coordinating with [redacted] County ([redacted]) and the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDGT) to complete the road construction. Specifically, SYG has been working on the VDOT right-of-way, signage, etc. Additionally, SYG has met with [redacted] and VDOT to discuss the timelines for final paving, inspections, punch list, etc. SYG continues to maintain a road surety bond on [redacted], As such, SYG continues to conform with all [redacted] and VDOT regulations.
To date, SYG corporate has received one call (complaint) from the [redacted] resident/HOA. The vice-president of construction explained the road completion plan to the person on the telephone.
SYG plans on completing (topping) the roads in 2014. In the interim, SYG has performed (and will continue) snow removal, etc. in-accordance-with our agreement with [redacted].
Sincerely,
