Review: I responded to a Craigslist ad that S&T placed advertising affordable HVAC systems in Pittsburgh. I was in the process of purchasing a home and was going to close shortly and wanted to get started right away upon closing. I met with Sam T[redacted] and gave him a $2000 deposit for materials. He told me to contact him as soon as I closed and he'd put the system in with the balance due on completion. When I closed, I contacted him and he postponed the install four times over a month with various excuses. When I pressed him for a firm date he gave me a date and time for install. I took a day off work to meet him and he never showed up or called. Obviously I have no furnace or A/C and I'm out my deposit. He will not respond to my calls, texts, or emails. I'm embarrassed to say that I only checked this website for complaints after he scammed me and found that he'd very recently done the same thing to another consumer.Desired Settlement: I would accept a full cash refund of $2000 or completion of job in full as outlined in the work order/contract.

Review: S&T agreed to do $6,000.00 worth of work. The funding came from an insurance claim. S&T was given $3,000.00 to obtain materials and do the work, and the remaining amount would be dispersed when the work was completed. S&T never obtained or delivered the materials needed to do the work, and of course, never did the work.Now, because the funds are associated with an insurance claim payment, I cannot obtain the remainder of the funds because the bank won't release the funds until the work is complete ... and without the money (or materials) I cannot complete the work.S&T became unresponsive after several phone calls. Requested refund, but none was given.Desired Settlement: I want the $3,000.00 returned to me.

Review: On Aug-24-2015, Sam T[redacted] and I signed a contract to install a new furnace in my home and I made a down payment of $850. Sam cashed the check but did not start/complete installation - despite numerous attempts to communicate with him. I filed a complaint with PA Attorney General's office in 2015. As of today, the PA Attorney General's office has not received response from Sam.Desired Settlement: I want a refund of the $850 down payment that I made.
