June 9, 2015Dear Sir or Madam:I am writing in response to a complaint, ID #***, which you have received about my businessThe customer complains about customer service and a lack of professionalism, quality and efficiencyI met the complainant through a home warranty company on 4-14-I
discovered that the heating and cooling systems were operating simultaneously due to shorted thermostat wiring that would require new wires being installed and access holes being put in the wall to accomplish the installation. This repair was not covered by the home warranty policy and the homeowner, the complainant, was responsible for all repairsIt was suggested that a wireless thermostat be installed to prevent the need to put holes in the wallThe complainant agreed and a wireless thermostat was installed on 4-21-No other failures or problems were reported until one day in May 2015.The complainant contacted me via my personal cellphone and explained that she was having problems with no cooling and she asked me to come over and check the systemI told her that I was booked for the day and that she could schedule an appointment, but I would attempt to work her in between scheduled calls if she was available when I called. She stated that she was at work, but she would have her friend provide me with access to her homeShe refused to make an appointment and she never provided me with contact information for her friendI called the complainant at 11:a.mand got no response from her until 12:p.mAt that time, she apologized for missing my call and she wanted to know if I was still comingWhen I told her that I could no longer come by due to previously schedule appointments, She became very upset and rather irateShe also stated that she didn't know what happened because she had her phone with her at all times.I don’t understand how the complainant can be upset with us about an appointment that never existedShe has attempted to file a complaint on Angie's List that was denied due to insufficient evidenceNow, she is turning to youIf any negative ratings are placed against my company, I will be left with no choice but to pursue legal actions for slander,Thank-you for your prompt investigation into this matterShould you have additional questions regarding this matter, please contact me at the above mentioned address or via phone at ###-###-####,Sincerely,Kermit S.President
