Review: On April 21, 2014 I issued a check in the amount of $3,000.00 ([redacted]) for repair and re-surface of a concrete wall in front of my house. [redacted] started to take off the old facing on May 1st. On May 1st [redacted] asked for an additional $2,000.00 [redacted]) to purchase supplies to do the work for me. During our discussion we talked about putting color in the concrete. He said it would be $550.00 so he could order the dye. I issued a check in that amount on May 2nd (Check [redacted]). A few days later, he put some wire reinforcement up on about 10 feet on my wall and that is the last time I saw any work being done. I talked to [redacted] when he stopped over on May 19th and he said that they would be here the next day, May 20th to do the work. No one showed up to do any work. I called [redacted] his cell phone, the number is [redacted] on Sunday, June 8th and left a message that I would like a call back as to when this work was going to be done. As of this date, June 10th, I have had no further communication with either the father or the son.Desired Settlement: I would like to have a cash refund for the checks that I issued to [redacted]
