As stated in your letter dated 6-29-16, we would like to address the enclosed complaints as follows:
 
A) We concur with the complainant that the two (2) fruit baskets purchased in Dec/2015 were acceptable to both complainant, as well as S & R Farmer's Market.
 
B) Complainant stated incorrectly that we provided 26 fruit baskets in April/2416. However, the actual facts are that we provided twenty five (25) fruit baskets in March/2016..not This is one of several facts that this complainant has stated incorrectly.
 
C) All of the fruit in the fruit baskets provided contained fresh fruit. Half of these baskets were picked up on 3/24/2015 and the other half on 3/25/2015. NOTE: At the time of pick-up by the complainant, all fruit was fresh and packaged beautifully as per our standards. Customer even commented several times how "beautiful these fruit baskets looked and that they would definitely place a similar order at Christmas time."
 
D) Complainant states merchant is not honest or fair. Conversely, S & R Farmers Market has built it's reputation over the last 16 years of being both honest and fair in our dealings with our customers.
 
E) 'Complainant states the fruit in the baskets were of poor quality. The truth is that S & R Farmers Market uses only the highest quality fruit coupled with our impeccable reputation for providing these types of fruit baskets.
 
The crux of this problem is:
 
-baskets were picked up on Thursday (3/24/16) and Friday (3/25/16) respectively.
 
-complainant stated at time of pick up as noted above that these fruit baskets would be distributed by the complainant "over the weekend" following pick-up.
 
-it should be noted the temperature over this weekend mentioned on Page 1. was approximately 74 degrees Fahrenheit —NOT 47 degrees Fahrenheit as stated by the complainant. It was unusually hot that weekend. These baskets are enclosed with clear plastic. Once the basket leave our store, we do not have control as to whether or not they are kept in a cool temperature or left in the car. We are not responsible for any of the items we sell once it leaves our store. Because the baskets are enclosed with plastic, it creates a "greenhouse effect" if left in the !red sun or warm temperatures. All fruit is perishable. It should also be noted that the credit card company contacted us regarding a "charge back" west for this sale. However, the charge back was denied once the credit card company received the same information we are providing the Revdex.com in this response.
 
S & R Farmers Market is upset and appalled by these unfounded accusations by this complainant. We are very proud of the fact that in 16 years of our existence, we have "never" received a complaint about our products or services from the Revdex.com. We ask that you resolve this complaint. We truly believe that this customer left the baskets in too warm of conditions before giving the baskets out as gift over this weekend. We were proud of the level of quality of the fruit that left our store, but cannot control what happens to this fruit once it leaves our premises. We are very confident you will concur with these facts as we have stated above.
