Dear Mr. S[redacted]:

This letter is in reference to the above captioned property. We have been waiting for over a month to have driveway repairs completed. As we have discussed in person, and over the phone, we are not satisfied with the work done by your son, Mark, and his friend.

To summarize the sequence of events, Mark and his friend, quoted a price of $260.00 for repairs and paving of our driveway. After completion, Mark refused to take a check and demanded cash. He also advised that the price was now up to $330.00. Mark promised a receipt and warranty on the work but took off without providing either.

We are not suggesting that inferior materials were used. We are surmising that the application was not done properly. When you visited our home, you agreed that the work did not meet your standards of excellence. You assured us that you would address the problem.

During our last conversation, you asked if we could wait until you were in the area. You indicated that you had a project on [redacted] Street. We have waited quite a while. As none of the “scheduled” appointments to complete the work have been kept, we are skeptical as to whether or not your guarantee is valid.

We expect to hear from you within seven business days. We do still believe that you care about your name and reputation. Hopefully, you will make good on your promises.

[redacted] and [redacted]Desired Settlement: We would like Mr. S[redacted] to complete the repairs as he promised. When he came to our home to inspect the work, he agreed to "make it right."

Review: Two representatives of driveway sealant firm misrepresented quality of sealant used on my driveway. Within three months sealant had washed away. Called firm and their youngest son admitted to other representatives of the firm false advertising their materials and they would comeback out and fix it. That was over 9 month they agreed to reseal my driveway at no cost. Since then I have also received telephone guarantees from the father and wife (Morris and Kelly) of the family business that they would be back out and no one has shown up!!Desired Settlement: Reseal my driveway with the proper materials!
