I purchased a used car from this company on 4/27/2013 for $1025 cash. I was provided with a receipt that shows that I purchased the vehicle for $1125 and a as is warranty. I also was provided with a print out that shows I am now the owner of the car. I was told by the sales man, Albert that he would take care of transferring the title and registration. To date, I have not received the title, my tags or registration. When I spoke with Albert today, he told me that the sale price did not include the Tax, Title and registration fees and he would transfer it if I provided him the taxes on the vehicle plus $100 for registration and title application. I explained that it does not cost $100 for registration and title transfer in Texas. I explained I knew the tax rate on cars is 6.25% and title transfer is $33 plus registration which is under $75. He said we could meet at title office for transfer and I could pay the state. This is very unprofessional and he was misleading when I purchased the vehicle because he did not say that the price was without Tax, title and registration. In addition, this company is posting vehicle on Craig's list as a private seller not a used car lot which is also misleading. He should have given me all the paperwork for my title to be processed when I purchased the vehicle if I had to take care of that myself. Most used car lots that my parents have ever dealt with always include the taxes, title and registration as part of the price and always transfer the title for the consumer.
