Review: After working with SNK Painting with the owner [redacted] for a short time, an issue developed involving exterior damages to a house. I was told that the damages were extensive and that I was responsible for said damages. I was told that he didn't need workers on the day the damages were discovered. I therefor was not present to view any actual damages. Despite numerous attempts to communicate calmly,Scott resorted to sending numerous text messages, which I've kept, that involved many swear words, implications of my "stupidity" and eventually a very informal termination which I believe to be wrongful. My responses, via text in hopes of maintaining a clear record of conversation, were more than pleasant and mostly served the purpose of insuring any damages were either repaired or compensated. Despite my best efforts to handle the situation professionally, [redacted] continued to be aggressive and informed me I would not receive any pay for the hours I worked. My request to him, which again is clearly documented, was I would need photos and or proof of damages, confirmation from the owner, estimates to fix the damages and finally proof of restitution once the damages were fixed. To this he responded by threatening me to stay away from his "customer" or he would "[redacted]" me (Again I have a saved voicemails and texts for verification of threats and aggression).Because of the lack of communication, I contacted the homeowner to verify damages and explain the situation and offer her my commitment to repair or pay for damages incurred. She informed me that she was unaware of the situation and I took pictures to prove no damages exist at the location that [redacted] described. I am seeking $238.50 for the hours I worked (26.5 hrs @ $9.00/hr) that he refuses to pay. I also take issue with verbal threats, misrepresentation of my work and also believe he is operating a business with no EIN and has yet to issue me a 1099 for any compensation I've received. I was asked to document for [redacted]. Thank youDesired Settlement: Would like to receive pay and, if at all possible, ensure the homeowner has all damages taken care of if and when there is proof of them.I believe [redacted] is holding my compensation wrongfully and he continues to lie to the customer. I would greatly appreciate any mediation you may be able to offer to ensure these matters are resolved. I have also submitted a copy of the letter which serves as proof of communication between me and the homeowner.
