DO NOT USE
Customers please beware. This contractor DOES NOT pay any contractor he hires. He hired us to do a job for a business and after completion he has split and won't return our phone calls. I spoke with the owner of the business that had hired him and he said he paid him thousands of dollars for the job and every single contractor is complaining they were never paid and now the main guy and owner Weston Ryon is avoiding all of us. He took us for nearly 4k I can't imagine what he owes everyone else. Please stay away from Weston and his company!!!
Same here, I did some contract work for this POS and was never paid a dime. Numerous calls and emails, nothing. Completely incompetent. A cheat and a swindler, everyone please beware!
I have always enjoyed working with these guys. They did an outdoor kitchen for me a couple years ago and did my roof on two different properties. Thanks for your hard work!!
Ryon construction has done over 700k worth of work for me. I would recommend him and his company for any type of work you need done. Prices are fair and backs his work.
Ryon Construction is the absolute best company! They built us an amazing outdoor living area with a stone fireplace and bar area. They were very professional and completed the job quickly! Weston was always answering our millions of questions and was super friendly. I currently recommend them to anyone I see asking for suggestions on construction companies.
RYON CONSTRUCTION is a highly professional, and more importantly, trustworthy company. We had interviewed other renovation companies and know the the many horror stories from friends and neighbors about selecting the wrong ones. They were always professional, patient and showed a high level of responsiveness and respect. We enjoyed working with all of you. We would definitely use this company again and would recommend you and your company without reservation.â??
Delays in construction causing extra/unplanned costs (damages) to current business
We hired Ryon Construction for a new commercial finish out for our business, and this was planned for completion in December 2018. We are now in mid-March 2019 and there is no current ETA for completion. We have mounting expenses from existing leases and additional storage spaces that were unplanned for the months of January/February/March, since we expected to be moved in to the new space months ago.
Would like for Ryon Construction to complete our commercial finish out, located at 450 Industry Way, Prosper, TX XXXXX, this month (March 2019).
We fully intend to finish this project and the client is aware of this. We have been in contact with them the entire time. The issue that was left out of the clients complaint and the main reason for these delays is that the client will be storing materials in the warehouse that we were unaware of and the fire suppression system that was installed when the building was constructed a few years ago will not meet the requirements for the Fire Marshall. The fire suppression company has spent weeks doing new designs, calculations and tests to get the system to meet all the necessary requirements. We are finally nearing a final decision on this many things, especially the electrical and finish out of the office ceilings could not be done until we had confirmation that no sprinklers needed to be replaced within that area. This delay is not a general contractor delay but a delay with the city of Prosper as they adopted new codes in January of 2019 that all parties involved were unaware of until recently. We are doing everything we can with all parties involved to get this resolved so we can get this job completed. This complaint was submitted as a way to try and get us to speed up a process that ultimately has nothing to do with our company. We have been and will always be willing to complete this project for the client once these fire suppression issues have all been approved by Fire Marshall, the city and the engineers. If necessary I can submit all emails between Fire Marshall and fire suppression company showing all the back and forth that has been going on for over a month. Thanks

We, as the client, are not aware that the contractor intends to finish this project based on the lack of progress and excuses. It is clear that Weston *** intends to use the Fire Suppression issues with the warehouse as the main excuse for delays in this finish out, when this has nothing to do with HVAC unit purchase/delivery/install/etc. There are several other items that have been promised for install (such as metal doors, trim, plumbing, electrical outlets, etc), but failed to deliver on these promises over the past weeks. Sub-contractors are contacting the owner/client over issues of nonpayment from the contractor on completed work, when the client has already paid the contractor for this work months ago.
