This company will not admit to gross negligence. They completely misdiagnosed a large amount of rusty fluid around my oil burner, a possible hazard and result of a burner leak, as possible septic leak in my basement.Three weeks later, same problem that they then attributed to the burner. We were away on vaca. They would not give an itemized quote on replacement when asked. Lie followed lie. We are now in small claims court.
We have been customers for many years and had no issues. Recently we hired Rymes to install oil tanks in our vacation home. The work was delayed because the tanks could not be ordered in time. When the work was done on 7/10/15 all seemed fine.
It was only 20 days later, on July 30 that Rymes was back to fix another issue, this time with the air conditioning unit. This technician completely dissed the previous work. Telling us we'd been lied to, the tanks were not special ordered. Not only that, but the piping was wrong, and the hole in the siding left by the tank install was not acceptable. This technician had nothing good to say about work we'd just paid $3000.00 to complete.
When I called Rymes to ask, they denied ever being at the house on 7/30, I was told, flat out by Bob that, "there is only one work order for your house. That wasn't us." Except my invoices, one for 7/10 and another for 7/30 show just the opposite.
Even worse, the technician who bashed the oil tank install did work that only kept things running for a little over a month. By 9/11/15 the heat and AC would not come on. A call to Rymes was not returned until the next day. Then the customer service person just said, "Oh oh," when I told her my story and who I'd spoken to.
I'm not left with oil tanks I'm not sure are installed correctly AND heat/AC that will not work. No one likes to be lied to, especially about something so costly and vital.
