Review: On behalf of my company, I agreed to price and pickup of a 2009 Freightliner Truck from [redacted] Ryder-Pittsburg on 3/21/13. I purchased airline ticket from Chicago to Pittsburgh. When I arrived in Pittsburgh at 9:00 AM I received a message from [redacted] stating that my truck wasn't running and it may take a few hours to repair. Since the truck wasn't ready and due to inconvenience and direct costs I incurred, we agreed to a $700 reduction in purchase price. I signed the revised paperwork and delivered the required cashiers check, which was now $700 above the purchase price. [redacted] told me that the corporate office would need to send my company a refund check and that it would be coming shortly.It's now two months later and I haven't seen my check. Initially I called and emailed [redacted] and he was responsive but I haven't had any response from [redacted] in the past month. No check. No reply to my inquiry. My goal is to get the check ASAP.Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Other (requires explanation) I want a refund of my $700 overpayment. My accountant says I need the refund for my monthly reconciliation.
