Ryan Roofing, Incorporated

Review: Contractor asked for 50% ($2150), cashed check(7/24/13) and was to be here the following morning by 9 AM(7/25/13). He did not show up nor did he return any phone messages (5 total). Called him 8AM 7/26/13 left message finally showed up around 10 AM. Was here for 2 hours and left without seeing me. Called him 7/27/13 in the AM and he said he would be done the job by Thursday 8/1/13. Showed up 7/29 @ 10 AM was gone for three hours to get shingles and left at 3PM. No show on 7/30/13, he was to be here at 7:30 AM. Received a vmail stating his "foreman" would be here to finish the first part of the roof. He showed up around noon and left @ 1:30. When I gave him the deposit he said he was going to buy the materials. I have seen nothing that would cost more than $50. Total time worked in a week maybe 6 hours. I have filed a police report with the township of [redacted], PA.Desired Settlement: I either want a full refund plus and additional 50% for lost time, aggrevation, damage to house and finding another contractor, which is not an easy task. OR I want the job completed in one week including full work plan for each day - no excuses and I will not provide final payment until the job is fully inspected.
