Review: Like most of your other complaints I was duped into thinking this was the only ticketing outlet for the theatre tickets that I bought. I paid over $125 for $65 dollar tickets. I did surf around and kept getting back to this website. I didn't feel good about it but I clicked the buy button anyway. I've been looking at these tickets for over a month. I regretted it almost instantly. Within 15 minutes I called the seller name phone number which is the only number on the receipt and am told that they are not the people I bought from only the sellers of the tickets. They agreed to refund the price of the tickets but not the $80+ service fee that the 3rd company "official-online-tickets.com" charged me for the transaction. I called my credit card company and they can't do anything until the charge which is currently pending becomes final. I went back to the website and got a phone number for official-tickets-online.com and tried to cancel within an hour of the order but got the same response as everyone else - all sales are final, I should have read the all the disclosures before I bought the tickets. These types of websites are extremely misleading and their surcharges should be illegal. People are duped into accepting their conditions because they think they have no alternative.Desired Settlement: I just wanted to cancel my order.

To start, Official-Online-Tickets.net
is not the merchant of record for this transaction. Official-Online-Tickets.net
is an online exchange which facilitates transactions between ticket buyers and
sellers. Official-Online-Tickets.net does not own or possess any tickets.
When [redacted] placed her
order from her computer at the website, [redacted],
she was obliged to review her order and accept that website’s terms and
conditions before her order was complete. These terms and conditions clearly
state:
General. Official-Online-Tickets.net acts as an
intermediary between buyers and ticket sellers (defined below) to facilitate
the purchase and sale of event tickets, and as such is not directly involved in
the actual ticket sale transaction between the buyers and TICKET SELLERS. All
sales are final. As tickets sold through SITE are often obtained through the
secondary market and prices are determined by the individual ticket seller, the
prices for tickets may be above or below face value.
Above Face Value. Tickets sold through SITE are often obtained
through secondary market TICKET SELLERS and are being resold, in many cases,
above the price or "face value" listed on the ticket. All ticket
prices include additional service charges and handling fees as defined on each
order. SITE and its TICKET SELLERS are not directly affiliated with any
performer, sports team, or venue; and SITE does not act as a primary sale box
office, unless otherwise stated. By agreeing to these TERMS, USER agrees that
the purchase price for tickets on their order does not reflect the original
purchase price of the ticket and may be either higher or lower than the
original purchase price.
Orders. Orders placed through SITE will be fulfilled
by one of our network of participating TICKET SELLERS. Contact information for
the TICKET SELLER who fulfills USER's order (hereinafter known as
"FULFILLER") will be provided to USER upon completion of the purchase
process. If this information is lost, USER may contact Official-Online-Tickets.net
to retrieve information about the order.
All sales are final. Since tickets are a one-of-a-kind item and not
replaceable, there are no refunds, exchanges or cancellations. If an event is
postponed or rescheduled, tickets will be honored for the rescheduled date. New
tickets will not need to be issued. If an event is cancelled without a
rescheduled date, USER will need to contact the FULFILLER for a refund. The
FULFILLER may require the USER to return the supplied tickets at USER's expense
before receiving any refund USER is entitled to due to cancellation. Official-Online-Tickets.net
is not responsible for providing or securing this refund for USER. Any shipping
and handling charges are not refundable. Refunds will be processed in the same
currency as the original order. Conversion charges, including though not
exhaustive of the ones issued by USER's bank, if any, are not covered by Official-Online-Tickets.net
or Fulfiller. Neither Official-Online-Tickets.net nor the FULFILLER will issue
exchanges or refunds after a purchase has been made or for lost, stolen,
damaged or destroyed tickets. When USER receives tickets, USER should keep them
in a safe place. Please note that direct sunlight or heat may damage tickets.
The website terms and
conditions were available to [redacted] as a scroll box during the checkout
process and as a link on each page of the site. If [redacted] did not click on
the “yes” button on the checkout page that asks “Have you read and do you agree
to our terms and policies,” the software would have removed her from the
checkout page and she would not have been able to go on to complete her order.
Also, the total price, including service fees and delivery charges, was given
to her before she gave her credit card information and completed her order. [redacted] chose to comply with the price and the terms before sending her final
order for processing.
At no time before placing her
order did [redacted] contact our Customer Service Department with any questions
or for any clarification of the pricing and terms and conditions. If she was
unsure about the order she was placing, she was free to call the Customer
Service Department at the readily available number or to comparison shop at
other sites before finalizing her order.
[redacted] was educated to the
fact that tickets are in many cases sold above face value and that [redacted] is neither a primary sale box office nor the venue. [redacted]’s freely-chosen
acceptance of the price and the terms and conditions indicates that she did
make a conscious and educated decision to purchase tickets at the price she
agreed to.
There is no refund due.

This is the same form letter used to address the other complaints against this company. The website is misleading in that it makes you believe the tickets are sold out and there are only so many available for each show when in fact, no information could be found at any other website because the tickets had not actually gone on sale yet. They are secure in the fact that they disclose the fees and that the tickets may be more than original price. They are indeed almost 50% more. The service fees are also 50% higher. I did agree to pay it because I thought there was no other option. They are no more than on line scalpers. I was going to suck it up and pay for my stupidity but I purchased on line downloadable tickets which were supposed to be downloaded within 24 hours. The charge cleared my credit card 10 days ago and I've heard nothing from them. I bought my tickets from them, paid them an exorbitant service fee and e-ticket fee. They're responsible for my tickets which I have yet to receive, their supplier is of no consequence to me.

Review: I purchased 2 of the best tickets at this company approximately $340.00 worth of tickets when I get to the marcus amphitheater the tickets that I purchased where 3 rows from the last on the bleachers, I purchased front row seating for that cost,the price was $35.00 dollar tickets in which I got charged about $150.00 each ticket + fees. I chose front row seats not bleachers, I call this company & all they say is that because I chose the most expensive seats cost that does not mean I get good tickets. I think I had the worst tickets in the building & I could not have spend more money. this company has MANY complaints & needs to be watched because they are taking advantage of of their customers. everybody around me paid $35 to $40 for their tickets. this is a company that is abusing their markup cost . I feel I overpaid. I could have bought $50 dollar tickets on their site & got better seats. The customer purchased Section 21 Row AA (which is after the A-Z, third farthest row in the section). We upgraded him to Section 14 Row B (25 rows closer and centered on the stage). We consider this issue closed.

I wanna know how they upgraded me to row B when the show was 1 month ago & I had to sit on the bleachers watching the show on their TV & I bought the most expensive tickets they sell. I am very unsatisfied. This company did nothing to satisfy me. I still had the worst seat in the building, I paid $170.00 for $35.00 tickets, I never got a upgrade & now their sayin they upgraded me for WHAT. R they going back in time to give me better seats. Review: I ordered 2013 Bonnaroo tickets in MARCH 2013 and paid almost $800.00 and have never received my tickets. The concert is June 13th which requires travel and today (6/6/2013) I was given an estimated delivery time for my tickets to be on Jun 13th at 12:00am, which is the date of the concert! I have asked for a refund because they have had 3 months to mail the tickets and have NOT, but they took my payment from my account right away! I am very disappointed with this service! I lost my means of travel because the tickets have never been received. These tickets were delivered by the inventory provider the day before we received this complaint. We would consider this issue resolved.
Review: We purchased tickets through this site for a performance at the [redacted] Theater in Denver. I specifically ordered tickets for section C - balcony to be in the center. My confirmation email did not indicate a section, only a row. When I printed the ticket it gave me an entirely different section and row (a down-graded section) and the value printed $33 less for this section than the section I ordered. This was not realized however until we arrived at the theater. I called a day later to politely ask for a refund for the difference ($33x 4 tickets). The run around was ridiculous. I was told they would not refund and they had the right to move us to any section in the balcony. How is it I buy a $69 seat but am given a $36 seat and that is company policy? In total they profited $55 for each ticket including the service fee and downgraded my seats. Unacceptable business practices and this should not be allowed. They even tried to tell me they gave me an upgrade.Desired Settlement: Refund of the over charge $33 x 4 = $132. They charged me for a $69 ticket buy moved us to the $36 seats.
