On FebI took a short survey while shopping online, and was offered a RY handbag in return, at a cost of just the shipping charge, around $ I didn't read all the fine print carefully enough-- this was my fault, I admit It turns out that I was to cancel the handbag within days or be charged dollars I found this out when the charge appeared on my bank statement When I called to find out what I had bought for $95, I was told I should have read the fine print I returned to the web site and found that not only was the original bag costing me $95, but that I was subscribed to a new purse service that would send me a new item each days for $50! I called RY back and asked them for a refund The manager said the return date was past, but they could offer me a partial refund of $ I agreed to it since it was better than nothing Oh, and the purse It was ho-hum I would probably have been happy just to pay the $if I had thought it was worth it My one-year-old granddaughter plays with it I will rate them a one out of ten because they did give me some money back, and they were available when I called, but in my book this taking advantage of the average person's busy-ness and distraction is immoral Just my opinion, of course

On Feb. 23 I took a short survey while shopping online, and was offered a RY handbag in return, at a cost of just the shipping charge, around $6. I didn't read all the fine print carefully enough-- this was my fault, I admit. It turns out that I was to cancel the handbag within 14 days or be charged 95 dollars. I found this out when the charge appeared on my bank statement.
When I called to find out what I had bought for $95, I was told I should have read the fine print. I returned to the web site and found that not only was the original bag costing me $95, but that I was subscribed to a new purse service that would send me a new item each 30 days for $50!
I called RY back and asked them for a refund. The manager said the return date was past, but they could offer me a partial refund of $60. I agreed to it since it was better than nothing.
Oh, and the purse. It was ho-hum. I would probably have been happy just to pay the $95 if I had thought it was worth it. My one-year-old granddaughter plays with it.
