Review: (I am entering htis complaint on my 86 year old fathers behalf as he would not be able to enter via computer) My name is [redacted] I live in [redacted] my parents had a [redacted] furnace installed by RV heating in 2011. this furnace is still under manufacturer warrnaty and there have been several service calls to repair this furnace. in fact this furnace motor failed in 2013 in the middle of the winter and my parents had to stay at a hotel while the repair took place. I beleive it took a week when it was all said and done. they continue to have problems with this funrace, randomly turinig off. this is very concerning given the age of my parents and the size of their house, going to the basement at 4am to check it out. this latest episode occured last week and this is when my dad tried to contact RV heating to discuss the issue. [redacted] who is the owner (as far as mu dad knew) will not return my dads calls. The ONLY phone number we have for [redacted] is [redacted]. I called this number for my dad too and the message says he will call you back in 5 minutes. Obviously htis is not true at all. I looked up his business address on Google maps and it is in the middle of the woods so basically a tree...therefore a bogus address. today I called the manufacturer [redacted] @ [redacted] and there was a ticket created [redacted]. I was told by the associate [redacted] that they could not help us eventhough the furnace is covered under the warranty they can't help with service. They directed me to the distributer instead. I am extremely disappointed in the way [redacted] and RV has chosen to handle this. As I said, my parents are elderly, certainly not helpless but this is not right to keep bouncing them around. I have NEVER heard of a furnace breaking down ever other month! it is really not acceptable at all.Desired Settlement: I want [redacted] to send out a service technician at no cost to my parents to inspect this furnace OR have [redacted] ccome out to inspect at no cost to them and inspect this furnace and then he can advise the manufacturer what action can be taken to fix this issue. Otherwise I think the entire furnace should be replaced at no cost to them as I feel it is defective. the warranty will expire soon so I fear thay are stalling so that that will happen and my parents then will have no recourse.
