Review: I called Rusty to junk car, they provided a local pick up service to where car was located, [redacted].
The car was picked up but the agree upon check amount, $200.00 was not given.
I have called several times regarding the matter, there is always a machine. I have left several messages and no one has returned my call.
I have even called the number of the contact person for pick up, no one ever answers.Desired Settlement: Receipt of the check.
Business
Response:
First and foremost our company is truly sorry for the inconvenience this has caused one of our valued customers. Information for the title of the vehicle was improperly entered therefore the towers who are sent to pick up the vehicle did not pay the customer. She will be receiving reimbursement of $200.00. Once again we do apologize for the trouble this has caused.
Review: On the website on the front page, there are three buttons displayed:
-Any Vehicle
-Any Condition
-Any Location
I picked up the phone and called the number to sell my 1996 Nissan Maxima, only for the automated message to tell me that they only accept cars of manufacturing year 2000 and newer.
This is obviously false advertising, as they do NOT take "Any Vehicle" as they claim to in big bold letters on their website.Desired Settlement: Either the advertisement should be changed so that the age limitation on vehicles taken is front-and-center (A cursory search of their website turns up no mention of the date cutoff, this should be something anyone can tell BEFORE making a telephone call) or they should actually follow their claim and buy any vehicle.
