took our money, never started the job.
Wrote a check to the company in the amount of $15,000.00 in December. The couple cashed our check the same week. We had a delivery of $300.00 in materials and haven't seen them since.
we need our money back.
We have closed the business. At this time we have hired a lawyer in regards to this case. If you have any further questions please contact Mr T
After Contracting with this business to build a barn the contract was not met. Less than 10% of the work was completed, and "contractor" reports he is unable to refund materials deposit due to theft by subcontractor. Business appears closed/ no longer being in business - all public advertising removed from website and ***
The work that was completed was completed off plan and poorly done to the point that it will need to be removed (plumbing incorrectly placed in slab, drains plumbed without appropriate fall, below slab and above frost line, toilet drain placement reversed with water supply line (water supply comes out 20 inches into slab / toilet drain 8 inches from wall and inside the area to be taken up by shower stall). Per appraisal poles placed in slab are not plumb.
Work was not done in a manor that demonstrates effort to complete project - no septic or electric bid formally/ in writing or subcontracted

Refund I maintained minimum wkly contact w/ "contractor" from start of project (11/13/19) until he admitted that the funds paid him were not available for refund as requested (2/6/20). "contractor" states he is suing hired subcontractor for poor work & theft of materials/funds. "contractor" states he paid subcontractors - subcontractors deny this to be true. "contractor" failed to produce receipts. I would like a refund of what was paid to contractor plus cleanup of site, minus any usable work.
