Rustic Customs

Review: Rustic Customs is an agricultural fencing company. I hired them in November2013 to install high tensile fencing on my property. The contract included a 3 month post-installation inspection and a 3 year warranty on materials and installation. It took 3 months beyond the 3 month post inspection period to get the company to come out and address some issues. A couple of small issues were handled that day and the company owner left with a promise to return the following week. Since then, I have sent multiple emails and called several times weekly and had NO reply. The problems with the fence include faulty materials. Some of the tensioners appear to be plastic and are breaking. I have wires down on the ground, making the fence unsafe for the horses in the pasture. The contract also included removing all of the old fencing. There are many tposts and wood posts remaining, including a metal tpost that had contact with all 4 of the high tensile wires, causing the fence to short out. Within the first month after installation, the wire buried from the charger to the fence was shocking my horse through the ground at the entrance of the barn. Because I could not contact the owner, I had to remedy this issue myself. When the wire was dug up, it was spliced together with duct tape. I was guaranteed verbally and in writing that only quality materials would be used and that all I would have to do in the event of a problem is call.Desired Settlement: I want all the problems with this fence fixed to my satisfaction in a timely manne. I want a gaurantee that the warranty will continue to be honored in a timely manner or a financial return.
