Review: Russian Gourmet, both on its website, and on its store window advertised a Summer sale of 30% off all merchandise. No qualifications or conditions were included in their ads. The first time I went to buy merchandise after the start of the sale I was told I had to pay cash and could not use a credit card to get the 30% discount. I had always paid with a credit card and their signs did not say "cash only," but I complied. I returned several times and paid cash. Yesterday, I went to Russian Gourmet. The same sign was still on their window and on their website, but when I tendered cash for an item, I was told that my purchase was too small to qualify. I had to pay full price for the item and since I did not have enough cash to cover it, I used my credit card.Desired Settlement: Stop false advertising. If there are conditions to a sale, state them. It's embarrassing to be treated like you are trying to get away with something when all you're doing is asking this merchant to honor its ads.
