I received a cut off notice for my electric bill days after it was due there was not a past due amount on the bill and I was requesting three additional days to make payment which would have been days beyond the original due dateI was told by a very rude customer service representative that thousands of customers requesting additional time to pay their bill had resulted in a policy of no extensionsI am in an electric coop that is not deregulated and therefore I am forced to purchase my electricity from this coop I believe that days is is not an adequate amount of time lapse after the due date to warrant cut off without extensionsI do not feel like I should be punished for thousands of other customers asking for extensions and I think this company makes enough money off of its customers to take this into considerationI have never had any electric company deny me an extension for a reasonable amount of timeThat I am forced to purchase from this company who seems to have very little respect for the paying customers that allow it to stay in business
