I ordered translation of some education paperwork and found out the next day that I no longer needed them. I effortlessly canceled my order through support and got pretty much the full amount back.
I'm sure the translation would've been done in a professional and timely manner otherwise.
If I'll have a need of translating more material I know where I'd be taking my business - thi this guys.

I had two birth certificates that needed to be translated from Arabic to English. I used the free quote option, and received a quote the same day, as well as a courtesy email from the operations manager letting me know that they can answer any questions that I may have. As soon as I confirmed my quote, the next day I received an email to review the translation. I had a couple of revisions that pertained to the spelling of a name. I submitted the new revisions, and I received another review email the same day. I would like to point out, that I am very impressed with the fact that RushTranslate made an effort to imitate the same layout that was used on the original documents. I accepted the revisions and approved my order. The overall translation and review process took three days.

I just had a great experience with RushTranslate that I wanted to share. I needed to translate my birth certificate from Spanish to English for USCIS and they did it within hours! I can't speak for the quality of translations from other languages, but in my case being fluent in both English and Spanish, the documents are accurately translated for all I can tell.
Even more importantly, I initially forgot to submit the copy of a stamp in the back of the certificate that I suspected it should be translated. I emailed them and within minutes they told me they were working on the translation of the missing part. I now have the translation of all the docs, again in record time!

I needed an official translation for USCIS and they did it in record time. I am completely satisfied with the service provided. The process was very easy, the website is very clean and well done. I received a quote the same day and my documents were ready for approval within 2 days! The official translation was impeccable. It seemed translated by an attorney itself and I had no problem with USCIS. In the past I used another company but its translation was not professional because they were spanish people. Rush Translate will translate absolutely everything in your original document without losing any details, including barcodes, stamps, small numbers, pages ...They are really good and very responsive. The original translation also arrived on time by mail with their seal and signature of the translator. Muy buenos!!!

In my particular case; there were some major inaccuracies in the Japanese translation . Whereas I believe Rushtranslate is generally a good company, it made several mistakes on supporting documents for my I 130 submission that the USCIS kicked it back to me. (after 10 months of waiting) and gave me a short window of time to get them corrected and resubmitted. It would be my "last chance" to submit correct translations. (USCIS)
Because of the volume of errors, I could not take the chance to have RushTranslate attempt to correct their mistakes, be wrong again and risk my only opportunity to resubmit. I would have had to go through whole process again, pay the USCIS fees and wait several more months.
So I had to go to an bilingual immigration attorney, pay $1556. to get it resolved and resubmitted.
RushTranslate refused to refund my money ($274.45).
Nice people, but in my case, did not do the right thing.

This review is misleading and disingenuous. While it is true that the original translation that was sent for the client’s review required edits, they were all addressed, and we received approval from the client to finalize the order. The issues in the original translation were largely due to the quality of the image of the source files that were provided by the client. Some text had to be marked as "non-legible" and, in other instances, it was simply inaccurate and required editing. The client submitted a revision request to identify the errors and help fill in the text that had been marked “non-legible”. We completed the edits, as requested, and the client then approved the revised translation and we finalized the order.
1.5 years later, the client contacted us to request a refund for the order. We opened a dialogue with the client and reviewed the situation. We determined that a refund was not warranted as there was no indication that USCIS had rejected the translation due to errors on our part. Rather, USCIS indicated that there were inconsistencies in the various forms that were filled out and submitted by the client.
The claim that the client had to hire an immigration attorney had nothing to do with the translation services we provided. To mention that here is deliberately misleading. Further, we offer free revisions on the translations, when needed. The client chose to contract the services of another translation agency, rather than contact us to request a revision. We were not made aware of any issues until well after the fact, when the client requested a full refund and used the cost of the additional translation as justification for the refund request.
Lastly, the client provided us with copies of the new translation to prove that it had been commissioned. When we reviewed the documents, we noted that the source files were different. The original materials that had been provided to us had text that was cut off along the margins. Also, there were multiple pages that had a high-quality scan, versus the washed-out images that had been uploaded to the order on our site.
The client is rightly disappointed that they paid more money to have their translations completed a second time. That said, they are not justified in pinning 100% of the blame on our company. The client had ample time to communicate with us prior to their deadline and we had previously demonstrated that the translation could be edited via the free revision process. If they had provided us with high-quality scans of their documents in the first place, there would likely have been no need for edits to the translation. We did have pleasant interactions with the client, and we did our best to explain our position for why a refund was not warranted. It’s unfortunate that they feel it is appropriate to post a misleading review in an attempt to smear our company.

On September 22nd, 2019, I requested a translation from RushTranslate. I never received a confirmation email. I tried to log on to see if the order had been placed, but never received an activation or password reset email. In October I received the credit card statement and saw a charge for RushTranslate. I immediately contacted RushTranslate and requested a refund because I had never received the translation. They replied they would not give a refund because (i) they had send the translation on September 23rd and (ii) of their refund policy. The refund policy only contemplates Order Changes and Cancellations. This case is not an Order Change or Cancellation. I simply never received the translation in the time offered by the website. Their argument is that they sent it without any consideration if I received it or not. If I were RushTranslate, since (according to them) the translation was done, I would have at least refunded the rush fee since the customer did not receive it on time.

We delivered the service ordered ahead of our estimated timeline. We estimated 24 hours and delivered in just over 12 hours. Three weeks later the customer contacted us demanding a refund as he said he never received an email from us letting him know the order was complete. We of course did send both the order confirmation email and the order completion email. We pulled the email logs and provided those to the customer, which show they were sent and the emails accepted by his email server.

This was a pretty strange complaint considering he knew the estimated turnaround was 24 hours and knew he could download the translation from his order status page when complete as all that information is provided on the site when placing the order. The emails are simply a helpful reminder, so even if he didn't see them, he could check his order status page or simply contact us anytime. Waiting three weeks to ask for something you expect in 24 hours makes no sense at all.

We certainly don't like seeing complaints like this, but chose to accept this public complaint instead of letting this person extort free work from us. The translator who worked on this deserves the payment they received; they did a great job and delivered ahead of schedule.

I'm not sure what's up with these other reviews...but I have had an amazing, just perfect, experience with these guys.
I uploaded my docs (4 pages) at midnight on the west coast, and had them waiting for my when I woke up.
Then, I saw I'd made a mistake in the precise docs I gave them, and let them know what the mistake was, and so what work I needed re-done and what could stay the same on the updated document. (and I paid for another $25 page, since it was my fault).
Zero problems and the work was done in like less than 2 hours.
These. Guys. Are. Great.

No stars to this company they scan people giving one price for the translation and them after getting your credit card the say they miscount the words and charge you double to do the work

We never said we miscounted the words, we said you miscounted the words! You didn’t request a quote and instead placed an order directly through the site and selected the wrong number of pages. At the point where you select pages on the site it says, "A page is defined as 250 words or fewer including numbers on a single sheet. Unsure of your page count? Request a quote”. Your file had 868 words and instead of selecting four pages as instructed you selected two pages. When we process the order we caught this error and requested payment for the additional two pages if you wanted to complete the order.
You declined to proceed so we immediately refunded you and cancelled the order. I’m not sure why this comes off as a scam to you as our site is extremely clear on how to count pages and we follow the industry standard for counting pages, but it would be appreciated if you would remove this review now that you understand the process and can clearly see we are not a scam.

A few days ago, I submited my request to translate one-page document (simple medical records, a doctor assessment from a neurologist). RushTranslate advertizes themselve as having "deep experience with medical translations." I knew I had a technical document and relied on that. I also relied on many positive reviews listed on their website. None of this ended being true.
When I received the translated copy certified and nicely packaged, I noticed a lot of odd and uncommonly used words and grammar issues. The document simply did not sound right. I discovered that they literally copy-pasted the text from Google translator. When I made a few sample text comparison, I was shocked that my document read exactly it is read in a Google translator box with incorrect grammar structure, and wrong word choice (outpatient client vs. polyclinic). When I went back to them complaining about this, they accused me of not telling true because it was translated by a "long time translator who has an impeccable record" and demanded examples. After I provided them with some obvious examples, they agreed to run a peer-to-peer review. At the end, they wasted two days to ultimately admit that the whole translation was wrong and a copy-paste from Google translator. They also admited that they apparently do not have expertize to translate these kind of documents. No remedy was provided except the refund. I wasted days trying to get my translation done.
They advertized themselves as professional translators with deep experinece in translating medical records. They simply do not. In addition, these translators are clearly unethical frausters.

This client ordered a certified translation, which is a literal, word-for-word translation of the source material. I’m not sure why she wasn’t pleased when she received exactly that, but she became quite angry and, let’s say, vocal, attacking us with the Google Translate accusations and all that. FYI, that’s the go-to line if someone doesn’t understand what a certified translation is. They compare it to Google Translate as Google often provides a semi-literal translation, so of course some words will be translated the same as that is the correct literal translation! We only use human translators and this translator in particular has been with us for a long time with a stellar record. We had the translation peer reviewed after the complaint to verify she hadn’t failed us after all this time, and she hadn’t. The translation was signed off by another professional translator.
We tried to gently explain this to the client as she was clearly beside herself over it, but after a few emails we realized we were wasting our time and we would never be able to please her, so we decided to cut our losses and issue a full refund so we could move on. So now she has the translation completely free of charge, but this still isn’t good enough for her! She wants us to provide a certified translation using her specific wording, which would be unethical on our part and we simply won’t do it.
So now she is retaliating against us by posting this false review, just being vindictive and trying to harm our company's reputation. As of this writing we have over 1,300 reviews with a 4.88/5 average rating on our site (https://rushtranslate.com/reviews). We’d like to please everyone, but sometimes it is simply not possible to do… this was one of those times unfortunately.

Hello,
I am in California and I paid this online service for a translation of document and a Notarization.
When I received the documents they were notarized in Indiana which was not clearly stated on the front page of the service.
Now this translation is no use for me as I cannot use it in California.
I was hoping this business will make it clear to customers what they will get upfront.
By being a resident of California, they should provide me a service that I can use in CA.

I would like to get a refund and redo my translation and notarization in CA.

This has been addressed with the client already and he has confirmed that he had no trouble obtaining the apostille he needed with the notarized trasalation we originally provided. He did not understand the process and filed this complaint with the Revdex.com prematurely and erroneously. He confirmed he will withdrawal the complaint, but has not yet so we are responding.

His complaint is that we notarized in Indiana, but he is a resident of California notary and he claims the notarization will not work in California. Let's take this in two parts.

Part 1 of the complaint - translation was notarized in Indiana and not California

It's unclear to us why he thought we would notarize this translation in California. Every page of our website has our business address in Seattle, Washington and ever page that covers notarization states that we do it in Indiana. At a minimum if he didn't read any information on our website about the notarization process he should have assumed it would be done in Washington, not California.

We state on our notarization page (https://rushtranslate.com***) and FAQ (https://rushtranslate.com***) that we fulfill orders from a central US location (Indiana) so we can offer the quickest delivery possibly to all of our US based clients. Notarization requires a representative of our company to sign in front of the notary public so it has to happen in the state we ship orders from and it is impossible to have our translations notarized in another state. Part 2 below addresses why it does not matter which state the notarization takes place in as it is valid in all 50 states.

“We offer notarization as an option on all certified translation orders for $19.95 per order. Each Certificate of Translation Accuracy will be notarized for the single fee. Notarization includes a wet ink signature from a representative of our company and the Indiana Notary Public along with a rubber ink stamp from the notary with their commission number and commission expiration date. If you need an apostille for the notary you'll obtain that free of charge from the Indiana Secretary of State. Full details on the SOS website.”

-Where is RushTranslate located?

“Our headquarters is in downtown Seattle, WA and our order fulfillment is centrally located in southern Indiana to ensure the quickest delivery possibly to our clients. Our translators are located all over the world as we use native speakers for each language. We only provide translation services online through this website and do not offer services at our physical locations.”

Part 2 of the complaint - the Indiana notarization is not valid in California:

Notarizations are legal in all 50 states. Every state provides legal authority for recognition and acceptance of out-of-state notarizations when validly performed by the notary in accordance with his or her own state’s laws. This is backed up by The Full Faith and Credit Clause of the US Constitution.

This client needed notarization to get an apostille. The apostille is issued by the Secretary of State and it validates that a notary public was active when the notarization took place. The apostille must come from the state of the notary public. Indiana offers apostille’s free of charge. It is a super quick, easy and free process. We provide hundreds of notarized translations each month, many of which clients obtain apostille’s for and we’ve never heard of a single issue.

After being informed of this complaint we followed up with this client and he confirmed that he was able to get the apostille from the Indiana Secretary of State without issue.

In conclusion, this is an inaccurate complaint filed prematurely because the client didn’t understand the process and was refusing to accept our guidance. He made an incorrect assumption that we would notarize the translation in the state he was physically located in instead of the state we are physically located in and then anincorrect assumption that he wouldn’t be able to obtain an apostille because of the state the translation was notarized in. Once he accepted our guidance he found those assumptions were wrong and that we had delivered exactly the service he ordered and needed.
