Dear Revdex.com: Thank you for taking the time to contact our office with the consumer’s concerns. American Medical Response (AMR) values our customers, and strives to provide quality service AMR has thoroughly reviewed the consumer’s account. Rural
Metro did not receive insurance information at the time of serviceRural Metro sent several invoices and made phone attempts to obtain the consumer’s insurance information immediately following the transport. The transport eventually defaulted to a collections agency on Novermber 7, 2014, as a result of no response, returned mail, insurance information, or established payment arrangements being received On April 17, 2015, the consumer contacted our Customer Service Department and provided his insruance information. A claim was subtenquentely filed, and denied by the carrier indicating the service occurred prior to coverage by the payer. At this time, the balance due remains the consumer’s responsibility.
