The client claims items were damaged during the course of her move. I personally handed a claim form to *** *** representative. *** *** acknowledges receipt of the claim form in her complaint. There is nothing else I can do for *** *** at this point. She should
deal directly with my insurance carrier. I cannot control the speed with which my insurance company processes her claim

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
I moved into my apartment on the morning of Feb.[redacted] 2016. The cost of the move was paid by DSS, during this move my refrigerator was damaged,my new sofa was ripped and my 50 inch plasma tv was broken. It to me 32 days to get a claim form from Runge Movers in Yonkers, once the papers were sent to their insurance company,they were then forwarded to their insurance appraiser. The insurance appraiser required Runge Movers to send in papers so that I wouldnt be at a loss. Runge Movers refuses to cooperate. Now I have a broken frigerator in my kitchen,a broken television screen still in my living room and a ripped sofa. This has been going on since February. Can you please help me resolve this situation. If you need to contact me you can do so at [redacted]. I suffer from epilepsy,arthritis of the spine,and I cant even get ice. I go out now more often than ever to buy food,because Im afraid that my food will continue to spoil and I would not have foodstamps to replace my food again and again. Thank you[redacted]

Review: They stole my stuff and have stopped responding to my emails! I submitted a claim through their insurance company a month ago and have not heard a reply.
They hired a different company for the unload - those movers were much better and I wish I had used them from the beginning. Runge uses this as a reason to claim they aren't responsible for my stuff. I stored my stuff with them for a month.
I can't believe all the stuff that is missing. Multiple boxes!!! Some packed by me and some packed by them. I probably can't remember all the stuff they took!!! It seems like every week I realize more stuff is missing.
Boxes were crushed and things were broken. I tipped well too, 60 bucks per mover (4 movers total).
I'm so upset my stuff is missing!!! Lots of things that are irreplaceable
I think they drank on the job because liquid was spilled on the carpet of the apt I moved out of.
They broke a tree limb when they drove away.
