June 1, [redacted] Palm Desert, CA RE: Rodent Exclusion performed at [redacted] *** Dear ***, Thank you for your recent letter to our company regarding the above-referenced matterI have personally looked into the matter and am struggling to find where our staff was deficient If I understand the information correctly, here are the facts We took a call from you stating that you heard sounds in the atticWe performed a visual inspection and saw rodent droppings confirming to our inspector that a rodent was or had been in your atticTherefore, an exclusion was necessaryOur crew performed the rodent exclusion on April 13, In performing exclusions, there are from time-to-time the remote chances that the rodent is trapped inside the building after our exclusion is completeSo as part of our service, we also perform a rodent trapping - normally for a one-week period We may or may not trap a rodent during this one-week period This is due to, in most cases, the rodent was not on-site or escaped during our performance of the exclusion work In addition to the inspection and exclusion, our price includes a one year warranty on a work that no rodent will get past the “defense system” that we installedThat charge is $ Therefore, the only rebate we can offer, but we would not advise it, is to cancel the one-year warranty and our company will refund you the $ Additionally, as a courtesy to you, we will, if you wish to keep the warranty, issue you $complimentary initial pest control service that can be used by you anytime within the next calendar year Yours respectfully [redacted] Rudy’s Termite & Pest Control
