Re:*** In response to the complaint made by *** ***. *** call to have motor replaced in a Chevy Cat this time he was informed that used engine would cost $that brakes down as $parts and $labor*** said that he wanted to buy the motor
through *** *** in which we informed him that it would cost $labor to install (A new motor requires an additional hours $to install vs a used motor which we didn't charge) and would have no warranty due to the fact that we did not supply the partsThe truck was towed in on 5/13/*** *** sent motor over a few days laterAfter viewingthe truck the mechanic that noted that the engine in the truck had been replaced and altered ,wires were cut bolts missing from work performed previously, We did the work necessary to bring the truck back to running condition and called *** to let him know the truck was ready for pick up*** said that he did not have the money to pay for the work, After many attempts and days later (should have been charged storage fees of $a day total of $750.00) he came to pick up the truck and drove it homeAfter his complaining we had truck towed back two times to find that he had altered more thing on the truck in that as he said “I do most of my own work”.We put multiple hours into the truck fixing wires replacing bolts and brackets that were not on the truck when it arrivedFinally as to his oil change the quarts of oil and filter was supplied by *** *** we just installed it free as a courtesy, We put in no more or no less than we had been givenIn closing Ruder Auto Service has gone far above and beyond to try to please this customerAll warranties and future work will be between he and his parts supplier *** ***Thank you, *** ***
