We hired RTK to do mold testing after we had a leak from an ice dam in our master bedroom this FebruaryAfter the remediation company came in and removed the walls, ceiling, and everything else that was wet, RTK came in to test for moldThe inspector came out quickly, was prompt, thorough, and told us what he was doing and what the next steps would beI mentioned that our 7-month-old had a nebulizer and was getting over pneumonia, so we wanted to be sure it was safe for her to sleep in the room next doorWe were staying with family in the meantime, which was a challenge with young childrenThey put a rush on the lab testing, and the owner called us personally as soon as the results were back to let us know that we did in fact have four types of moldThey had the report to us the next morningThe remediation company was very pleased with the report they submitted, which included specific instructions on what needed to be correctedAfter they contained the area, removed the mold, and put an anti-microbial paint on, a different inspector from RTK came back to perform clearance testing to make sure the mold was indeed properly removedAgain, he was very informative, asked if we had questions, walked us through the process, and we got our results back quickly - no mold! The office staff was also helpful in our dealing with the insurance company and adjusterI would highly recommend RTK to anyone who needs environmental testingThey are highly professional and really top notch!
