Review: I have a property located at [redacted] in [redacted] PA [redacted] for which some roof repair work had to be done. This contractor Mr. Farner and his wife said they would complete the work in less than a week after the initial deposit is sent to them. Their services were solicited in February 2013 and a payment of $200 was sent to them. The check was cashed and they never performed the work until May 2013. I requested them to refund the money since the job was not done and was extremely delayed and they agreed to give the money back. In My recent conversation with Mr. Farner he indicates that he has stopped doing business under the old name, has no bank account and can only give me cash. I asked him to money order the amount and he has not done this yet. It is over six months and the party has refused to issue a refund back for the services that was not provided. I am looking to obtain my refund with an additional $100 towards all the undue waste of time/ several phone calls and emails to follow up on this matter.Desired Settlement: Refund though a cashier's check or money order paid for $300 and mailed to my home address before 10/15/13.
Review: I gave him $1200 to put a new window and a 4'x4' closet in. He said he ordered the window, but he was backed up due to weather and illness. Then I called him and asked if he could put a new outside spigot, 12" shelves all the way around the top of closet, and a vent in closet. He said he would do that, but he needed another $75, I paid him and he has not shown up to work, he isn't answering the phone (which he no longer has a business phone, his cell no. is [redacted]) and he doesn't return phone calls when I leave a message.Desired Settlement: I want my money back, plus if there are any lawyer fees and court fees, I think he should have to pay them
