R&R built an addition to our family room about years agoThe addition sits on the deck of our houseWe've spent the last years using space heaters in winter and unable to use the room in summer due to overheating We recently discovered why; we removed our old flooring to prepare for new floors, and found that there was a 6" wide by feet long hole between the original house floor and the new addition, that R&R filled in with trash and papertowels, before covering it up with the flooringIn addition, there was a water leak under the french doors leading to the deck because there was no flashing or water seal, and the entire subfloor has molded and rotted out The workmanship was not good overall (crooked window frame and other cosmetic issues) but the problems we just discovered are absolutely astonishingNever hire these people
