I have spoken to the Service Managers of [redacted] in Savannah as well as [redacted] in Jacksonville since Ms [redacted] first complaint to your organization.Based on my discussions with them, it appears that Ms [redacted] has a pattern of requesting and/or approving work on her vehicle only to complain and find fault with any work performedWhen she was in our establishment, she talked badly about previous shops and dealerships that she had visited, while stating that she was glad to have found usI should have seen the handwriting on the wallI am not sure what her motives are other than to possibly get out of paying for work performed, but I stand behind my statement that RPM Autoworx went above and beyond to make Ms [redacted] happy, even if it costed us money. We included her in the decision process, showed her any broken components and explained everything in detailShe agreed with our evaluations and approved the workWe were never able to experience any shifting or vibration problems that Ms [redacted] speaks ofAny issues that I was responsible for, I stood by my work and made it rightAfter learning from other shops that this seems to be a pattern with Ms***, I am even more convinced that the work we performed was fair and accurate, and that any issues that we may have caused were taken care of by our shopThe vehicle has not been back since July of last year, so I cannot speak to any issues with her vehicle that have occurred since then

Ms [redacted] is a very pleasant individual who made 9 visits to our shop since July 2014. We inspected her vehicle and made recommendations for repairs or service each time she came in as we do with all customers. Ms. [redacted] was always taken to the vehicle and shown exactly what was wrong every single... time. We showed her the bad components and spent countless hours explaining the issues to her and included her every step of the way. Her vehicle had of 150K miles on it and needed some work, as all vehicles do with similar mileage.Ms. [redacted] always complimented us and our work, until after the transmission replacement in June 2015. She returned numerous times complaining of a vibration that none of my technicians could feel. RPM even went the extra mile to ensure that the vehicle was in good running order by taking it to the local [redacted] dealer for checkout, at our expense. We used an OEM [redacted] transmission as well as engine/transmission mounts at her request, but nothing seemed to satisfy her. The vehicle drove better than most vehicles with equivalent miles on it. RPM went above and beyond to make Ms. [redacted] happy. RPM has over 650 published five star reviews because we go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction, but we also realize that we can't make 100% of the customers happy regardless of quality of work or customer service. We are sorry that Ms. [redacted] can't appreciate all of our efforts and quality work. We wish her well.

You asked us to diagnose a noise coming from your suspension while drivingSome suspension noises are difficult to isolate, especially with a vehicle with over 200K miles on it and with most of the original equipment such as shocks and hubsWe had to start with the most
obvious possibilities first as part of the process of elimination in this case. You were shown our findings, given an explanation and included in the decision making processAs we heard you state in the waiting room to other customers, " those guys are thorough and know what they are talking about"This is a true statementWe have been in the business of diagnosing for over years and have thousands of satisfied customers and over five star reviewsIncidentally, the reviews are conducted and managed by an objective third party. As a consumer, you are perfectly entitled to take your vehicle to another shop for a second opinion before or after any work is performedWe elimi***d two existing potential causes and issues that existed on your truckThe other shop simply found one of the last remaining issues. As far as refunding the diagnosis charge, I do not understand the logicWe spent time and equipment inspecting and diagnosing at least two issues that your suspension had, and the technician is entitled to be compensatedI am sure you do not work for free either. We only charged you a one time diagnosis fee of $60, which is not not based on time expendedThis business practice is more than fair for the customer when diagnosing a noise under a large truck that only occurs when driving, on a vehicle that had most of the original equipment and parts installed that are over 200K miles oldEspecially when the dealerships charge a customer for every minute that they spend on diagnosis

I am rejecting this response because:
Mr. [redacted] refuses to acknowledge liability for the damages to my vehicle that are now documented. He shut me down hard on 8/4/2015 when he told me to come back when the Check Engine Light was lit and that he wouldn't do anything until then. As for the complaints I have with [redacted], they may also be due to the negligence of RMP Autoworx. [redacted] have already replaced the front right wheel that may have been damaged by the moving Upper Control Arm that is due to negligence of RPM Autoworx. [redacted] blames my previous mechanic for the issues that exist with the Oil Plug and Oil Pan. The Service Manager at [redacted] demands that his mechanic did not strip the oil plug and that it was stripped when they got it.  I don't know which mechanic stripped the Oil Plug. Today, I cannot get my oil changed. The passenger Upper Control Arm is moving around. The Front Upper Ball Joint is damaged. The mechanic at Sears explained that the wheel may just fold under the car at any time while I'm driving because this part is moving around freely. It sounds really dangerous to me. You asked us to diagnose a noise coming from your suspension while driving. Some suspension noises are difficult to isolate, especially with a vehicle with over...

200K miles on it and with most of the original equipment such as shocks and hubs. We had to start with the most obvious possibilities first as part of the process of elimination in this case.
You were shown our findings, given an explanation and included in the decision making process. As we heard you state in the waiting room to other customers, " those guys are thorough and know what they are talking about". This is a true statement. We have been in the business of diagnosing for over 7 years and have thousands of satisfied customers and over 650 five star reviews. Incidentally, the reviews are conducted and managed by an objective third party.
As a consumer, you are perfectly entitled to take your vehicle to another shop for a second opinion before or after any work is performed. We elimi[redacted]d two existing potential causes and issues that existed on your truck. The other shop simply found one of the last remaining issues.
As far as refunding the diagnosis charge, I do not understand the logic. We spent time and equipment inspecting and diagnosing at least two issues that your suspension had, and the technician is entitled to be compensated. I am sure you do not work for free either.
We only charged you a one time diagnosis fee of $60, which is not not based on time expended. This business practice is more than fair for the customer when diagnosing a noise under a large truck that only occurs when driving, on a vehicle that had most of the original equipment and parts installed that are over 200K miles old. Especially when the dealerships charge a customer for every minute that they spend on diagnosis.

I honestly can't say enough great things about this place. My car was in crazy shape. My car was shakey and the stirring wheel would jerk back and forth. I put it off for a bit because I was unsure as to where to take my vehicle. These days it's hard to trust just anybody with your car without being ripped off or even paying for a crappy job. I am so happy and honestly BLESSED to have found this place. I took my car to RPM Autoworx on Waters Ave. and lets just say this place is amazing. [redacted] (the owner) as well as her staff were MORE than accommodating. They did an inspection on my car and even took me out there and showed me everything. Man did I learn some stuff. Even the owner got out there and checked it out. I felt right at home and had no doubt that these guys could get the job done. I ended up needing new tires and an alignment. At first I was stressed out because everyone knows how expensive work on cars can get. This place was worth every penny! [redacted] worked with me and gave me the best deal she could for the best quality. They weren't pushy and had my complete trust. I honestly didn't care how long it took because I knew that I'd be doing my car a disservice by taking it anywhere else. After I paid and drove my car home, I have to say, my car has never driven better. I feel so much safer and I'm just happy to have my car in working order. I will never and I mean NEVER take my car anywhere else....for ANYTHING! They can expect me for routine maintenance and everything. The lobby is just amazing. Air Conditioned and nicely decorated. Savannah is so lucky to have a place that genuinely cares about their customers well being. Big shout out to [redacted] and her team over at the Waters location. I don't care where RPM Autoworx is located, my car has now found a new forever home. I am so thankful!! Thanks guys. :)

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: Your company FAILED TO CORRECTLEY DIAGNOSE the cause for the problem... It dont get much simpler than that... You caused great hardship on me and my family taking over $1000.00 out of our income spending it on parts that WERE NOT NEEDED.. I am spreading the word like wild fire about your company until you resolve the simplist resolution. REFUND me the $60.00 YOU DID NOT EARN. as far as your 500 what ever 5 star ratings you are not truthful in WORD OR DEED you may need to do a little sole searching on your business practice.

I have spoken to the Service Managers of [redacted] in Savannah as well as [redacted] in Jacksonville since Ms. [redacted] first complaint to your organization.
Based on my discussions with them, it appears that Ms. [redacted] has a pattern of requesting and/or approving work on her vehicle only to complain and find fault with any work performed. When she was in our establishment, she talked badly about previous shops and dealerships that she had visited, while stating that she was glad to have found us. I should have seen the handwriting on the wall. I am not sure what her motives are other than to possibly get out of paying for work performed, but I stand behind my statement that RPM Autoworx went above and beyond to make Ms. [redacted] happy, even if it costed us money.
We included her in the decision process, showed her any broken components and explained everything in detail. She agreed with our evaluations and approved the work. We were never able to experience any shifting or vibration problems that Ms. [redacted] speaks of. Any issues that I was responsible for, I stood by my work and made it right.
After learning from other shops that this seems to be a pattern with Ms. [redacted], I am even more convinced that the work we performed was fair and accurate, and that any issues that we may have caused were taken care of by our shop. The vehicle has not been back since July of last year, so I cannot speak to any issues with her vehicle that have occurred since then.
