My wife and I went to the "Remnant Sale" on October 24. After looking at various pieces of granite ("cutting boards to kitchen-vanities...") and discussing some options with my wife, we decided to purchase a 6 foot long piece ($30) to take to our contractor. We were interested in testing it's functionality as an bench around the fire pit .
I also told him we were construction a house and my wife wanted to look at the full slabs which she did as well.
The sales rep (who's was very personable and greater us upon arrival) went to his boss and told us that he had to have a minimum sale of $80 or he couldn't sell the piece. I told him I didn't see it in the ad or on the flyer he had handed me. He apologized and I left without a purchase. If there was going to be a minimum purchase price, it should have been clearly stated in the AD.
