Review: Royale Concierge will not reimburse me for items they lost when I used their wash and fold laundry services:
At my former address, [redacted] (Kips Bay Towers), Royale Concierge was the service employed for dry cleaning and laundry services. Two of the items I sent out for wash and fold services were never returned to me 1. J Brand Jeans ($119.90) and 2. A Patterson J. Kincaid T-shirt (valued at $148). My items were misplaced by the cleaning service in November 2013. Royale Concierge is no longer employed by Kips Bay Towers, and I have since changed addresses as I moved in December; however I was told to contact [redacted] of Royale Conicerge. [redacted] agreed to reimburse me for the missing items. I sent him a copy of the receipt for the jeans and a link to a comparable Patterson J. Kincaid t-shirt as I do not have the receipt for the specific item (he said this was perfectly fine). I was under the impression a check would be sent to my address; however, it never arrived. Most of the time when I call Royale Concierge's phone number, it is impossible to get a hold of anyone to assist me. Finally when I was able to get a hold of [redacted], he told me he does not handle reimbursements (even though he is the [redacted] and should be accountable for his company's actions, and had already promised me reimbursement for the items they lost). [redacted] told me I should speak to [redacted] regarding the issue. It is now May and I am still calling [redacted] frequently. He says the Accounts Payable team has not responded to his request to approve the refund. This is an issue that should not take months to handle. They lost my clothing and should be held accountable. Their company is completely untrustworthy. Also, their address is not listed (their address is just their UPS box), so I am unable to go to the company in person to speak to them in order to resolve this dispute. I am at a complete loss and would like help in securing a refund. This is taking an unreasonable amount of time as it is now May 2014 and it is obvious that they are giving me the run around in hopes that I will give up getting the money they promised to reimburse me.Desired Settlement: A refund in the form of a check of $267.90
