The owner [redacted] is WORST PERSON THAT I HAVE DEALT WITH I recently purchased my home in PlanoDuring the inspection the roof did not passSome part of the house had nails exposed due to improper installationThe previous owner had a receipt with a year warranty that covered installation and labor I called them and Tanya was a very polite during our conversationsShe said someone from Royal was going to stop by and inspect the roofThe person that came was Charlie, it took him about minutes to check on the roofAfter he was done he said he was going to talk to the owner and get back to me Two weeks later I called them and Tanya said that someone else patched the roof and left the nails exposed, that it was not themAfter that I called the previous owner and if you know her you will see she's a very kind lady who made the buying process so much easierShe said on an e-mail and I quote her words: "I am positive we used Royal Roofing I still have the receipt I sent you And I do remember the city of Plano came out and inspected it after it was complete I was very surprised when I read that about the roof on the inspection report We have never had any problems with it We had Royal repair the original roof years before that and they did a very good job That is why we called them when it was needing to be replaced So no, no one has ever done any roof repairs but Royal Would you like me to email you the receipt? It may still be under warranty" After I read the e-mail I called Royal once againTanya answered the phone and could not say anything to me, she said hold on a secondWhen I was waiting I heard her saying " [redacted] CALM DOWN, YOU NEED TO CALM DOWN" He immediately took the phone and started yelling to me and ranting about how that was not their workHe will not fixed someone else's jobI am a very calm person and I repeatedly said to him to lower his voice to show some respect, that I do not appreciate being treated like thisThat did not stopped him, he was still screaming to me and after about minutes of me being VERY VERY POLITE he changed his tone He went on and on about how they are the biggest company in Dallas and they are not going to cover someone else's job From my perspective I am in the middle between ***'s word and the previous owner, who has nothing to loose because the house is already mine and any expense is my responsibility But this is not what I am writing about Royal, as a woman and as a customer I have never in my life being treated like this If you want someone to treat you with respect DONT GO TO ROYAL ROOFING and if you want a company to honor the warranty DONT GO TO ROYAL ROOFING
DO NOT MOVE HERE! I'm a resident now and you do not get what you pay for! Utilities are not includedEveryone's water is ran together and there are units in each building! The washer/dryer unit is pure ***, the dryer doesn't workCheap, cheap upgrade to kitchen, the drawers are plastic! Our deck has 6-very old, moldy boards that they won't fixVery old AC unitSloppy paint job and trimmingThe extra laundry room can't be used because nothing in it works! Security doors aren't security doors, anyone can get in! They have only put money into appliances and not fixing the real problems in each aptOur bathtub is cracking at the edges and makes you feel like you're going to fall through and maintenance just keeps caulking over it again and againYou can see where the mold and mildew is from the pastI've been waiting for over a month now for a permanent fix!! The only way to speak with the manager is by phone because she won't come out of her office to speak with you! When I did over the phone she told me *** happens?! How is that professional?? I'm not just an angry resident for no reasonThey do not handle problems here at all! In short you will only waste your money moving here!

I recently purchased my home in Plano. During the inspection the roof did not pass. Some part of the house had nails exposed due to improper installation. The previous owner had a receipt with a 5 year warranty that covered installation and labor.
I called them and Tanya was a very polite during our conversations. She said someone from Royal was going to stop by and inspect the roof. The person that came was Charlie, it took him about 20 minutes to check on the roof. After he was done he said he was going to talk to the owner and get back to me.
Two weeks later I called them and Tanya said that someone else patched the roof and left the nails exposed, that it was not them. After that I called the previous owner and if you know her you will see she's a very kind lady who made the buying process so much easier. She said on an e-mail and I quote her words:

I am very pleased to have hired Royal Roofing to redo my house and garage in Fitchburg, MA. Roger, the owner, is very personable and professional. He arrived on time the day we arranged for the quote. He quoted a fair price and had his crew arrive exactly on the day he projected he could start the job He had an 8 man crew arrive which included himself and the job was done in one day to my surprise. His crew is very respectful and they do the best to keep the property clean by covering bushes and porches. They use a large magnet to pickup nails and they are constantly cleaning debris to put in their own dumpster that they haul in themselves in the morning and remove at night. We were told not to hesitate to call if we had any questions or concerns. We were given a written 10 year warranty that includes material, labor, and disposal. We were given the extra roofing shingles as requested. My neighbors all came out to look at the beautiful job and one asked for his own quote!
