Review: I ordered some bedding from the company. When it arrived I decided, WITHOUT OPENING THE BOX, that I no longer wanted the items, as I had found some others online that I liked better. I requested a return authorization, as per their website. I received the return authorization and mailed the box back to the company - - to the address provided on the return authorization.
Softlinens.com c/o: [redacted]When I looked up this company via the Revdex.com, they gave me the New Jersey address... This IS the same company, as the name is the same, and at the website is the same.
This morning I received an email from "[redacted]", correctly identifying my order as "[redacted]" and telling me that they could refund only $109.00 of the sales price of $179.99 because "the duvet cover set you returned is not in new original condition (has a lot of hair and lint on it) and doesn't comply to our return policy. (Pictures attached). That is PREPOSTEROUS.. as the items clearly had NOT been opened from their original "shipped to me" packagingDesired Settlement: In the email I received this morning from this company, they said they would either refund $109.00 or I could have the items back for a $5.95 shipping cost. I would like my $179.99 back LESS their original shipping cost ($5.95). In other words, I would like a refund to my credit card of $174.04.

have them issue a full refund less the $5.95 shipping ...thanks

Review: I purchased a bed set from this business through [redacted]. The product was advertised as a blue and chocolate brown bed set. When it arrived the color was not chocolate, it was a bronze color. I did not immediately want to return it because I thought it would be a hassle. So I decided to see how it would look in my bedroom before making a decision. I unpacked the set and put it on my bed and it did not go at all with my decor. Then I packed it back up and contacted the seller about returning it. He responded right away and sent me a label. I sent the package back a day and a half after receipt. I tracked the package online and a day after the seller received the package back I emailed him about getting my refund. He responded that the bed set was full of hair and he could not re-sell it. I did not understand how this could be since I had the bed set for less than two days. I emailed back and forth with him and he refused to refund my money. He told me he was going to send the set back to me and only refund 20% of my money. I tried to negotiate with him because it was not a bad set just the wrong color. I would need to purchase a duvet and pillow case covers in the correct color and felt that he should refund $80 for consideration of that and he refused. He now has shipped the product back to me and has not refunded any of my money. I have the set back and when I took it out of packaging it had no hair on it. There was nothing wrong with it. It's the wrong color and I am out $180. I have never dealt with a company that has treated me so unfairly.Desired Settlement: I would like my money back so that I may purchase a bed set in the correct color.

I am checking on who's the seller who sold this product on [redacted]. we are the manufacture and we have many resellers who sell our products on amazon. The product in the subject complain was returned back to us in used condition and doesn't qualify for a return and was returned back to consumer .
will research our files to find out who is the seller and contact them to have them reach out to customer and offer some sort of an insensitive such as 50% off to compensate consumer
