Review: July 2, 2014 I purchased items and gas totaling $28.18, while the transaction was being processed the manager updated software on a different computer and caused the computer I was at to crash. I have text alerts which provide any use or activity on my debit card and I showed the manager my text alert with the $28.18 charge from Royal Farms. She assured me I would not be charged, it would not go thru on their end. So she told me they would have to redo the transaction and again I was charged $28.18 and a text came thru again. I showed her the 2nd charge, but she insisted I would not be double charged. I demanded a number to their corporate office. On July 3, I called 410-889-0200 Ex#105 and spoke to Janice who found the 2 charges and assured me this would be taken care of asap. On July 8, I called back and left a message for Janice "where is my refund/overcharge"? On July 9, Janice returned my call, she had been out of the office and she would submit the refund to IT and it would take 6 to 10 days to process.Desired Settlement: This is totally unacceptable service. Royal Farms has had my money since July 2, 2014 and will have my money for at least another 6 to 10 business days. If Janice was going to be out, she should taken care of my problem before she left. The manager lied to me and told me I would not be double charged. My card is now in the negative because I have 2 automatic debits that come out, thank GOD I have OD protection. However, I still have no use of the cash they took from my card. I believe they should compensate me with either a refund of the total transaction or a credit for services at their store
