Review: Hired this landscaper to do some work in my yard. Upon arrival, he drove his truck into my fence trying to reverse out, and broke off pickets and damaged the stringers. He then tried to nail the pickets (which were split in half) back onto my fence. I have tried contacting him for a resolution on this for 4 weeks. This entire time, I have had to live with the broken fence, which is against my HOA policy, as I thought he would do the right thing and provide a resolution. He has not. I would not recommend doing any kind of business with this company.Desired Settlement: $600 to repair the damage on my fence.
Review: I contracted Rovase Assoc through [redacted] to perform landscaping work at my property. The nature of the work was to relocate 8 existing arborvitae plants and plant 5 new arborvitae plants. The work was performed around Sept-Oct 2013. Over the next couple months the plants began to turn brown and lose branches. Eventually, they will die. I've tried to resolve this issue via [redacted] Complaint Resolution process. However, the provider stated I still owe his company payment for 8-man hours. The [redacted] Big Deal I purchase clearly stated 20-man hours however the company decided to parse those hours. Initially, I was told it would be a 3-man job taking 7.5 hours per man thus fulfilling the Big Deal requirements. The company decided to send a 4-man crew, without notifying me, and expected me to pay the up-charge of 8-man AFTER the job was completed. I declined to pay since that is not what was verbally agreed upon when Robert visited my property.Desired Settlement: I'd like the provider to reimburse the cost of the dying arborvitae plants, $975 (13 plants at $75 each to replace).
