Hi, I am emailing in response to a complaint from *** *** submitted on 9/12/It seems that Mrs *** feels entitled to a full refund of the vehicle her and her husband purchased from us on 4/10/We do not agree with her statement or her entitlement to a refund and here are a
few reasons why; Mrs *** started email contact with us on 5/4/asking for service records on her vehicle and that she was having problems with it and had to get it towedWe responded to her within business days letting her know we would like to help and that we would work on getting services records if any from the last known dealerWhich we got and sent to her on 5/9/and once again told her we would like to help and asked what was wrong with her carThe next day she informed us of the info she found out that was wrong with her carWe replied saying we would like to help for the third time still not knowing in what way Mrs *** wanted us toWe didn't hear again from Mrs *** in response of what she would like done until a month later on 6/9/and she still hadn't answered our attempts of trying to satisfy our customer, but instead asks something about Canadian cars and their mileage starting overWe didn't understand the questioning and still hadn't told us what we could do to help so we decided it was best to wait until she answered that questionAnother month goes by and on 8/7/Mrs *** said she had some questions about the report we sent her that we got from the previous dealer which listed some things that Rairdons (the dealer) fixed at their shop before we owned the vehicle(Which we were lucky to have gotten and be able to provide for our customer since most vehicles unless brand new don't come with any service records)This record shows the vehicle being a Canadian car (which now somewhat explains customers previous question)As well as the used car inspection when it came to their possession and the things that were fixed at their shopWe responded to that email two days later explaining to her again that we wanted to help but she bought a used car, as-is, no warranty, we always offer our customers to take any vehicle for a pre purchase inspection that they pay for at a mechic shop of their choice, and we even disclosed the amount of profit to her ($1200)All emails back and forth up to this point have been very respectful and cordial on both partiesBut still no resolution as to what Mrs *** was asking of usOn 8/15/Mrs *** contacts us again saying she's never heard any response from us in this matter and that she has reports and documentation from Rairdons that basically the car is a lemon and we should have known that based on the dealer supposedly given her all this info from a customer Rairdons allegedly bought the car back from before we owned itWhich we wouldn't ever know what a previous dealer did due to privacy lawsMrs *** signed a Buyers Guide stating the vehicle is As-Is, and no warranty when she purchased the car that states the customer is responsible to pay for all costs for any repairs, as well as a list of possible repairs that could go wrongThere's also another form called a Due Bill that also states sold as equipped nothing promisedThen again almost a month later Mrs *** emailed again asked for a carfax which you will see attached with other documents in this emailWe DO feel we have done our due diligence in trying to figure out something with MrsSprouse, but due to lack of her communication on what she would like done and the time between incident and email, we no longer feel the need to helpWe have put in our efforts to attempt to keep our customer happy and see what options there may be to work out with no resolutions in the matterThe customer did sign paperwork stating they understood they were buying a used vehicle and that there could potentially be issuesWe never heard word of wanting a refund until the complaint with the Revdex.comWe thank you in the opportunity to respond in this matterPlease find supporting documents attachedAnd if there are any questions please feel free to email or call me st the info listed belowThanks

I am rejecting this response because: This morning as I drove to work with my window down because of the smell of sulphur emanating from my car due to a faulty catalytic converter, I couldn't help but think of Victor's answer that he offered to "help me" and I didn't tell him what I wanted. This car is dangerous, the sulphur smell gives me headaches and sore throats if the window is up, the car makes horrendous clacking noises, jerks randomly for no reason, etc. It's laughable that I didn't tell him what I wanted, Here are some facts:1. Right is right and wrong is wrong. Yes, I signed something saying as is, I guess that gives you the right to sell me a dangerous car. I guess you telling me "it's a good car" means it's a good car till I drive it off the lot and you get your money from my bank and say you're a reputable dealer while I break down on the side of the road over and over again and pay over $2k in repairs with over 4k needed still.2. Saying "I'd like to help" is not help. Offering to fix something is help, offering to pay for something is help, but saying the words is just that, words. Actions speak louder than words. When he asked me what I wanted, I was specific and told him I need these issues taken care of. Each time I spoke to him, a new issue would've arisen. Literally week by week, new issues were popping up with this car and each time he would say "what do you want me to do". I want you to fix the things that are wrong with this car!3. I WANT YOU TO FIX THE THINGS WRONG WITH MY CAR. I've said this over and over again and he says I didn't tell him what I wanted, I couldn't have been more clear, he has NEVER said "give me the estimates so I can see what's wrong". He's never said, "I could help you with that issue". H'es purposely evasive If he really wanted to help me, why wouldn't he ask to see the estimates? To know exactly what is wrong and how much I'm looking at in repairs, my guess is, he has no intention of helping me and never has. He can use the As-is line over and over again, yep, my bad for taking him at his word that it was a "good car". When I leave my office today and have to roll down the window so I can drive home, I will remember that there are people in this world who don't care about doing the right thing. After months of asking for help and realizing that there is apparently no end in sight as to the number of things that break down and need to be fixed on this car, I can only say at this point, I don't want this car. I refuse to drive my kids in it for fear of what else could be wrong with it, for fear that the sulphur will harm them. Attached is all my receipts of what I've paid so far, the estimates of work needed. The original mechanics report that reads almost like a storybook, line by line of what has broke down and what is wrong with my car and what is left to come. Lastly, I don't believe that he didn't ask the dealer he bought the car from what was wrong with it. That defies logic. Of course he asked. Right is right and wrong is wrong. I fully accept that I was stupid for not getting a mechanic to look at the car but I truly believe fraud is involved because of the prior knowledge of this cars issues. There is no way I will ever believe that Victor bought this car from the dealer and never asked and I certainly don't believe he asked them and they lied to him. The fact that I contacted him so quickly after buying the car with break down after break down shows immediate cause for me to ask him for help, he states months went by, I kept waiting for him to tell me how he was going to help me. I would wait and wait, no phone call, text or email saying how he would help me, so I would contact again and we'd go round and round. At what point do I ask for someone else to help me mitigate some of my damages with this business?
Sincerely,
